yk the blog 99oscaars… rorie seems chill at first right? but this week she made a couple posts about ai that. well um. they were interesting alright. i agree with the takes abt ai itself, like, ai will NAWWWTTTTT help u shift, and if ur thinking abt using it when u aren't already… don't. it's better that way. u have a beautiful brain for a reason. if u need help scripting, ask other shifters. we're a community.

but anyway. her takes on the addiction side of it? um. girl. and when ppl were trying to talk about it. some ppl weren't even being rude abt it in the comments and she got so hostile w them anyway. i won't lie and say ppl weren't being rude at ALL in the comments but she fr just went at everyone under the replies with hostility 😭 even the ones who were being civil and just trying to have a conversation

yes it's her blog. she's allowed to post her opinions. frankly i don't think anyone was saying she shouldn't be allowed to post her opinions. but ppl are also allowed to say when she's just wrong abt things or being an asshole.

"if ur addicted to ai, ur addiction is invalid and doesn't matter" girl what. i didn't know there was a competition for whose addiction matters more? "literally every comment is hostile towards me" if she genuinely thinks every single comment was being hostile, i think she needs to reevaluate her perceptions of what's hostile and what's not, bc some of those ppl were just trying to have a mf conversation, which she showed very quickly she was not open to having.

i hope she matures and grows as a person in this reality. the swap from "i realized that i should be more empathetic. u never know what someone is going through and u need to be understanding of everyone no matter the situation" in her post abt what shifting has taught her, to "yeah i wanted to double down when i said this specific group of people doesn't count" like 5 days later... wild.

shifting method for lazy and loud minds.

this method is very simple. it's for people who don't feel like organizing a whole method or putting in a lot of effort(because you don't need to), and people who have very messy brains that are always thinking and never shut up. it's all about affirming and optionally visualizing. step 1 : get comfy. lay down, go to bed, do it awake, eyes opened, idc. whatever position works best for you. step 2 : start affirming. "holy shit i'm in my DR!! this is crazy i actually shifted, oh my goody goodness this is for real!!!" exactly like that, i'm not kidding literally just go crazy with it. step 3 : Now as your affirm, start to throw in what is currently happening in your DR, you can visualise as well, but you don't have to! if your shifting to an mha DR for example "holy moly i'm recieving my first tailored hero suit!!! holy moly i'm getting ready for training!! blah blah whatever you want" and now just do that till you shift or whatever, you can also do this for reaching the void state or any other state you want if you so please! this method helps me a lot as someone who has a LOT of thoughts, my own thoughts overlap sometimes and doubts, getting sidetracked, etc can be a big problem for me. this method helps a lot, if you're thoughts are loud, you just have to be louder, yknow. so yeah. have fun shifting!

　　　　　　　　　things people don't talk about, but i love

♱ tight-knit . . . hogwarts is one of the smallest wizarding schools in the world. it has around seven hundred (or a tad less) students. this allows for such a tight-knit, close community. professors can form long-lasting mentorships with you that go beyond your school years, and you can often begin to see some as parental figures for the rest of your life. other students, as well, become like family. makes for even better school events, too !

♱ house-mates . . . continuing from the tight-knit aspect, your house-mates become your closest confidantes and often like your siblings. you will meet, often in your own house, people who you rely on for the rest of your life. especially for muggle-borns or half-bloods, you find people extremely similar to you who understand and can relate to you in ways others can't. arguments and rivalries within houses, too, can often (not always) be solved quickly - if you get locked out of your common room, you'll need their help and it'll make the tension pass

♱ the seasons . . . every season feels exactly like what that season should feel like. falls means the crunch of leaves underneath your feet with every step, the scent of pumpkin spice fills the dining hall everytime you enter, and pumpkins populate every corner. winter means that snow gorgeously surrounds and covers the castle, snowflakes often fall by the windows at perfect times, and it feels ever-so-cozy at night. spring means having the feeling of the gentle sun against your skin as you sit in the courtyard, flowers in bloom everywhere, and the sound of birds chirping. i could go on and on, but it's like hogwarts amplifies every season to be the greatest version of itself

♱ the castle itself . . . the castle is so large, so spacious, confusing, and full. you could spend weeks exploring the castle without even attending classes, and still continue to stumble upon new nooks and crannies that you've never even seen before. the amount of hidden rooms is insane, let me tell you. james and i once stumbled upon a hidden room that held incredibly scary creatures floating in glass containers. we stopped exploring for a while after that

♱ third spaces . . . even further than the castle, one may go to hogsmeade and spend as much time as they would like with their friends among the rows of shops. you could spend your saturday at the three broomsticks studying or taste-testing all of the treats from every treat shop in your vicinity. the world is truly your oyster !
