okay guys while i'm on this active kick, i've decided i'm gonna start posting more whimsical and random stuff about my drs. my era of mystery is OVER

"if shifting is real why do people come back from their dr"

because some of us like our life

fake it till you make it. take parts from someone's shifting routine but ignore the rest. do things others may deem silly or extravagant and incorporate them into your shifting journey. attempt to shift every night, every week, every month, all of them or none at all. write in journals, post online, talk to others, or only keep it to yourself. there is no wrong or right answers. there is only you and whatever makes you content. stop listening so much to those who say you must do xyz to shift, the only person who matters in your journey is yourself. you are limitless

♱ hogwarts years . . . as opposed to having hogwarts span from year one to seven, i added an additional eighth year. considering that there is no traditional university afterwards, it makes much more sense to me to have an additional year for students to adequately finish their education and decide what path they want to take. additionally, there are post-secondary educational institutions (although not all very formal . . . ) that wizards can pursue to become masters at their subject alongside or alternatively to working as apprentices !

♱ age system . . . i made away with the british age system (cut-offs) and altered it to fit the north american age system. this is because i am born in december, and i honestly love being almost a year younger than everyone else. this is a purely selfish reason, but why not? first years must, though, be ten to eleven years old to begin at hogwarts. the letter sent to them is slightly changed as well, not being sent around their birthday. rather, as long as they fit into the next year starting (for example, 1960s babies) then that will suffice. the letter is sent on july 1st of that year, to allow them two months to prepare to attend the finest wizarding school in britain

♱ the train . . . so, obviously, the hogwarts express is an incredibly exciting and essential part of the hogwarts experience. but doing it for eight years? i could forsee many students wanting to skip it all together or come earlier. for upper year students (fifth years and above), they have a choice in whether they ought to take the express or arrive two days earlier. prefects and head students are obligated to be on the express, but typical upper years must submit their declaration to arrive earlier by august 10th and must sign-in immediately with finch once they arrive at hogwarts

♱ holidays . . . obviously, holidays are a big deal in the harry potter canon. yet, there is little celebration of traditional pagan holidays such as samhain, yule, or imbolc (among others). this makes little sense to me, especially as someone who has begun to celebrate these holidays myself. therefore, holidays are celebrated as primarily the traditional pagan versions, alongside the modernized ones, too

♱ quidditch . . . listen. i understand that jk rowling wasn't thinking about the wider implications of the game, but there is no way there is only seven players on team out of hundreds of students per house. rather, there is 17 players (6 chasers, 6 beaters, 3 keepers, and 2 seekers). there are only seven people allowed on the field at one time, though. this is so there can be variety and students can be switched out in-case of exhaustion, injury, or illness. this also opens up quidditch to far more than just the same-old upper year students.

♱ substances . . . vapes + energy drinks exist in 1970s scotland and can be found at one of the hogsmeade shops, but only if you know the password (it's "indubitably", for whatever reason). it's the same shop where alcohol can be purchased illegally for house parties. obviously, there is no harm to anyone's health if they choose to indulge. sirius, jackie, and i are frequent visitors : the shop-keeper doesn't even ask us for the password anymore

۪ ݁ WILHELMINA : MINX ݁ ۪ ୧ , a member of THE COUNCIL , she is but loyal to their cause given her parents, she herself , being proud members of THE COUNCIL — even having their own seats at the SENATE : though , momentarily, the minx sisters have been absent , as they were forced tasked to work at the OVERLOOK HOTEL ( a safe place for supernatural creatures — think hotel transylvania ). she is an ambitious witch , who , for the most part, conjures monsters made out of shadow & casts spells specializing in. . . anything. wilhelmina is powerful, but the author does not want to disclose on any details (sue me). the minx sisters bother a man called TIM for the most part , but he adores his two girls even if he pretends otherwise. she, wilhelmina, is known to most as the witch who dressed in RED SILKS is but a familiar sight to THE WINCHESTER BROTHERS but under a different guise. DEAN WINCHESTER refers to her as M&M (he also lovingly compares her to SALEM SABERHAGEN), something her sister, TELIA MINX , thinks is hilarious. which isn’t, but thank you.

i feel like i’ve talked about this before but just as a refresher:

in the case that you intend to shift and it “doesn’t work” continue to persist with your affirmations anyway and know that anything that goes against your new assumption is just the old narrative dying out. you don’t need to panic or worry about your manifesting power because remember, you are always in control. you just need to persist. don’t allow ego to keep you boxed in. you’ve grown out of the old story so allow it to clear itself from your 3d.
