i feel like things sort of fell out after maeve unalived honestly (not that i blame spencer for not being able to get over it) its just that for me its really hard to grasp my head around the fact that this absolute loser of a guy- whose only personality trait in the show was being the nerd of the group, not having game and non stop blabbering- became this agressive hunk who acts on impulses and cant think for shit and dont get me started on the whole jj situation. he was a genius in the beginning and then slowly lost brain cells when the trauma intensified
