“ oh…” natalia nodded, scrunching up her nose while sipping on her coffee. “ that’s a problem then, yeah. it’s fine though – just clear it up that you are not interested and then everything will be fine. i hope.” she quickly added, forcing a wide smile. the girl herself had noticed how much of a free-spirited girl aspen was, the perfect amount of freedom to match her own level of seriousness. they balanced each other out perfectly. “ touché, however – just take care, yeah?” she cautioned her friend. “ good. my advice is always perfect.” she spoke proudly.
Aspen nodded her head along, listening intently to Natalia’s words. It was good advice, however there was a high chance that Aspen wouldn’t put it to use. Confrontations had never been her strong point. There was a weight that had lifted from her shoulders, not because her issue had been solved but because the topic had swiveled away from her problem. A grin pulled her lips upright, “me?” She asked, a mock gasp escaping her as she threw a hand across her heart, in classic Aspen Marchesa fashion, “I always take care. I’m the most responsible person here.”
