Important Hello everyone âŒïžâčïž
Today, a café where I was resting, studying, and trying to connect with friends to promote my campaign on Tumblr was bombed. Unfortunately, a residential apartment above the café I was sitting in was hit directly. I filmed a video of what happened, and it was a heart-wrenching scene: the sound of the missile, the darkness of the place, its desolation, and debris scattered everywhere. Sadly, 8 people were martyred in this attack, from which I barely survived.
How many times do I need to survive for you to support my familyâs campaign?
I want everyone to share and support my campaign because if I donât survive next time, my family wonât be able to find food or water. My family consists of 8 members, all girls, my younger brother, and me. I am the one responsible for managing the familyâs affairs, providing food, water, and our basic needs.
I urge everyone to pay attention to the campaign. Thank you to everyone who shares, donates, and understands the immense suffering I endure daily.
Hi my name is Shelley and I am fundraising on behalf of Mohammed and his family here is their ⊠Shelley Gordon needs your support for He
Mohammed Ayesh is the vetter at @/gaza-evacuation-funds and he is also a friend of el-shab-hussein!
Mohammed is a university student and only in his early 20s. But not only is he responsible for his family and making sure there's food for his siblings to eat, he is also working tirelessly vetting Gazan fundraisers and helping other people get the donations they need! Also his little brother Yasser is hard of hearing and the cochlear implant he relies on to hear has been malfunction because they don't have the money to fix it!
Please give more support to Mohammed's campaign! He has worked so hard trying to help other people and running the @/gaza-evacuation-funds account. Please support him in his time of need!

i really donât know how to make you people care about palestinians. a thousand followers and what, ten notes on the donation posts i make for them? they are quite literally begging for what they need to survive and you guys canât be bothered to even reblog the posts. jesus christ.
donate to laila
donate to ola
donate to reem
or at the very fucking least, reblog this so people who are actually willing to part with $5 for someone who needs it can see.
telling gay men that they are allowed to love each other freely, openly, and passionately will always be more important than reassuring insecure straight men that they can hug their bestie without being gay
the solution to men withholding love and affection from each other out of fear of being perceived as gay is to remove the stigma around being perceived as gay, not to "no homo" male affection
how to donate an eSIM
if you are unable to go through this process, you can also donate directly to crips for e-sims for gaza, run by trusted disability justice leaders alice wong and leah lakshmi piepszna-samarasinha and poet jane shi. read their statement on wong's blog, disability visibility project, here
#i've been donating to crips for esims bcus i know personally i can't keep up with topping up #so donating there is also helpful bcus it gives them a pool of funds to keep esims topped up with if u can't afford it urself ^ yes!! very important note!!
today's vetted campaigns. please please continue to share and donate. i know lots of my posts are like this now, but we can't lose energy. these families need us.

âI do not think these negotiations should proceed at all under the current civil emergency in Ecuador.â
The Canadian and Ecuadorian governments continue to forge ahead with free trade agreement (FTA) plans, despite opposition from social movements and Indigenous Peoples within Ecuador, along with rampant instability. In these negotiations, the spotlight is on the Canadian mining industry. Canadian mining investments in Ecuador are valued at $1.8 billion, with Canadaâs trade commissioner noting that Canadian companies are âleading investorsâ in Ecuadorâs mining sector. The trade commissioner also praises Ecuadorâs âmining-friendly legal framework.â On March 5, Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa met with Justin Trudeau in Ottawa. Both leaders welcomed âthe imminent launch of negotiations toward a Canada-Ecuador free trade agreement.â The day before, Noboa spoke at the 2024 convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), an annual event that promotes Canadian mining interests globally. March 4 was âEcuador Dayâ at PDAC, and Noboa used the opportunity to promote his country as a âmining destinationâ to Canadian investors. This is despite what MiningWatch Canada calls âserious human rights violations [that shed] light on the state of conflict over mining projects in peasant and Indigenous territoriesâ in Ecuador.

iâm gay but iâm always gonna choose the well developed straight ship over the 2 bland and incompatible white dudes that have 500,000 fanfics written about them. you guys just hate women.
the university which administers the Pulitzer prizes is not allowing press on campus, to make sure nobody on-site can document what is happening.
the nypd threatened student journalists qnd their dean with arrest if they leave a building named after Joseph Pulitzer.
at this point it isn't even worth remarking on the sheer horror, the baffling irony of it all.
entire new york roads have been closed to traffic so that nobody can prevent the world's largest police force's brutalization of students protesting their tution fres and tax dollars contributing to killing kids.
all of this to... keep investing in an apartheid regime.
Columbia University would rather risk their students getting murdered than divest from genocide...
"Let's talk about the reason propaganda isn't working on gen z" from the same people who casually say "oh it's amazing that this got published I thought Jewish people owned all of our media companies."
To be clear: the reason many media outlets are biased in favor of Israel, is that this stance is politically useful to the United States and several powerful European countries. Israel is a tool for them, not the mastermind in charge.
But genuinely seeing people reading the Osama Bin Laden letter for America and going "the guy makes sense" when antisemitic world domination conspiracies are there loud and clear right off the bat.
You didn't crack any code if you go "everyone America taught me not to trust? I should listen uncritically to them instead." You're still listening to propaganda.
This is exactly how I feel watching people talk longingly about the Soviet Union and happily use its symbols, while friends I have from those countries talk about the trauma their families still carry from that regime.
Communism makes sense for my ethics, therefore that authoritarian expansionist regime demonized by America must be good!
You'll see an American leader going "I should have all the power" and another leader going "no, I should have all the power" and pretend like one of those has to be the good guy.
If you think you're immune to propaganda, just because you're critical of it when it favors one specific country you don't trust, you've primed yourself to accept it from whoever decides to pretend they share your ideals.
I donât remember where this story was from but it was about how the writers older brother died when he was young and years later had a son who, had never met the brother had the same mannerisms as him. Ok I think I remember the key words were âmy son drinks from the water fountain like my brotherâ or something

After multiple delays, the council voted in favour a resolution with softer language on ending the fighting in Gaza.
The UN Security Council has passed a resolution urging scaled-up humanitarian aid access to Gaza after multiple delays. The US and Russia abstained during the vote, and all other members of the council voted in favour.
The resolution which was drafted days ago was repeatedly rewritten until it was toothless enough not to get vetoed by the US and they still couldn't vote for it.
500,000+ Palestinians are starving and there's concerning signs that multiple epidemics are starting to tear through the civilians population due to a lack of access to clean water.
The only good news is that the US has done a lot of damage to its credibility and soft power. This is after its hard power took a massive hit due to the naval coalition against Yemen crumbling before it even got started.
