hadley was carrying a stack of boxes, on a super-important mission from chiron: restock the camp store. he couldn’t say he was surprised, considering he’d been hinting about it for weeks. hadley just happened to be the unlucky one to pass by the big house when chiron was on the porch. so here he was, blindly carting boxes across camp. it was no surprise when he inevitably crashed into someone. “sorry!” he called out, scrambling to pick up the boxes before anything fell out. “oh, hey zeke.”
