A/N: Thanks for the ask anon! This was super fun to write, I took a shot at writing characters I don’t usually write, even though they’re relatively minor. (like, they don’t even have lines lol)
(also, don’t ask me how this whole fight works, i’m not sure either)
send me a prompt + a character from this list!
Iida stood at your side, both of you to worried to say anything. His jaw was clenched, his hands gripping his radio, eyes narrowed.
He looked tired and angry, covered in the dust that floated leisurely in the air.
You don't look any better. You continuously ran your hands down your face, pulling at your cheeks or rubbing your eyes roughly as you watched the battle. Your teeth chattered roughly, and there was a dull ringing in your ear you couldn't find the will to be concerned about.
A city street covered in broken support beams and debris continuously got worse in front of you, buildings crumbling like sand.
Deku, Ground Zero, Red Riot, Creati, and Uravity were the only ones cleared to enter the fight zone. Usually, you wouldn't be so worried about your girlfriend. You were both in the hero field; danger came with the job. You trusted Ochako to keep safe.
But usually, Ochako wasn't shaking.
You've been watching your girlfriend fight for years now, and you know when she's off her game. Right now, Ochako isn't just off her game; she's not even playing. Her apparent exhaustion was probably because none of you have slept in four days. Tracking down this particular group of villains has been kicking all of your asses.
The League of Villains was still kicking, but more villains have started making their little organizations with the LoV's rise in notoriety. The villains themselves were low-level, but with the quirk enhancing drugs still running rampant, they were starting to get hard to manage.
Ochako and Creati were supposed to be in charge of escorting any remaining civilians out of the area and keeping the structures of buildings stable. Your quirk wasn't compatible with what they needed, and Iida was required to wait until someone was out of commission before he could help.
You bit your lip, watching Ochako stumble away from the villain slashing at her. She was struggling, her quirk still being used to hold up the building that Momo had disappeared into.
The villain lunged again, his blade getting longer.
The radio in Iida's grasp crackled.
"Ingenium, you're cleared to fight. First position is with Deku, then make the rounds to Creati, Over."
Iida was gone before you could blink. You held the radio he had shoved into your hands tightly, knees shaking.
Iida quickly took the villain out, easily slipping under the guy's blade and knocking him out. He looked over Ochako for a second, and after receiving a shaky nod from her, he was gone, the sound of his engines getting fainter.
People were moving non-stop behind you, everyone antsy from being side-lined and told to stay on the safe side of the borders. You watch Ochako's knees give out, the brunette falling roughly onto the gravel and vomiting. The building she had stayed right next to groaned eerily; she reached her limit.
"Medic 16, cleared for retrieval. Shouto cleared for support; you'll be replacing Uravity."
"Shouto!" You shouted over your shoulder, already vaulting the barricades. Todoroki came sliding into view, using his ice to speed through the crowd of first responders and confused civilians.
He slid by above you, pulling you up and onto his ice path. You held on tightly to his hand, doing your best to keep steady on the slippery ice.
In seconds, Shouto was holding onto you as he let the ice path dip and lower to the ground, quickly allowing you off the ice. You dropped to your knees next to Ochako; Todoroki already worked on freezing the building in place as best as possible.
" 'Chako-chan, can you breathe with me?" You asked, pushing the girl into a sitting position. She was struggling to breathe, puffs of air escaping her mouth to fast for your liking. Still, Ochako nodded shakily, watching your chest rise and fall as you took, deep, exaggerated breaths.
You noticed quickly that it wasn't working. Ochako's breaths were still ragged, her gag reflex acting up often. Your mouth pulled into a frown, and with one hand, you dug into the supply bag on your hip.
You popped a nausea tablet into her mouth, watching her chew weakly. She tried to wipe her mouth, but her hands were shaking so intensely that she dropped her arm back into her lap, closing her eyes and breathing deeply.
"You're okay, Ochako. Just relax." You pull her hands into yours, running your thumb gently over her callouses and fingertips.
"I didn't mean to stop my quirk." Ochako sighed, hanging her head. You nodded, letting go of one of Ochako's palms to pull off her helmet completely.
"I thought, I thought I killed Momo," Ochako said through grit teeth, her face going pale again. A sharp tremor ran through her body also, causing you to pull her hands until they were splayed onto your chest so she could feel your heartbeat and your breathing.
"Hey, she's okay. Todoroki's securing the building, you did great." You soothed, guiding the heroine's breathing again.
"Medic 16, Creati confirmed she has five civilians with her. Escort her and the civs out of the battle area. Take Uravity to the medic tent." The radio's static laced voice startled the two of you, but even though you were caught off guard, you both scrambled to stand, watching the building's entrance warily.
Just as the distant rumble of your other coworkers fighting off other villains started nearing, Momo burst out of the building. She was supporting a limping woman who was crying heavily. Another woman stumbled next to them, holding the hands of two other children. What gave you pause was the child in Momo's arms, body limp, and stained crimson.
You cursed softly, looking anxiously at Ochako. The brunette nodded, already turning to run back to the barricades. You dashed forward, hands already outstretched to take the child from Momo's arms.
✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈«
The medic tent was relatively quiet, only a few other medics on sight.
You went over the child's vitals again, sighing lightly. He had suffered a head wound, though luckily it wasn't too deep or long, head wounds bleed quite a lot.
You figured the kid had a minor concussion, but the first concern was blood loss. Hopefully, you'd be able to check on him once he was transferred to an actual hospital.
His mother was lying on the cot next to him, leg wrapped in a temporary cast. The other woman and children were herded out of the tent, per policy.
Ochako sat on the cot farthest from the tent's entrance, fiddling with her helmet.
"How are the others?" She asked when you neared, looking up at you. You smiled and sat at the end of the cot, tucking in your legs, so they didn't dangle off the edge.
"Haven't gotten an evac order, or a call for a replacement, so they're managing. They've pushed in the fight zone, though. We must be winning." You said, pulling her hands back in your lap and playing with them.
"Thanks for dealing with me back there, I'm kind of embarrassed that I collapsed," Ochako giggled, cheeks flushing. You smiled lightly, pulling Ochako's hands up to your mouth and pressing a gentle kiss to each of her palms.
"That's what I'm here for." You muttered, pulling her into a hug and leaning forward until you were both laying on the cot.
"Go to sleep. I'll wake you if anything happens." Ochako nods at your words, a small yawn escaping her before her eyes fluttered closed, face relaxing. You pushed the hair out of her face lightly, before making your way off the cot, standing with a sigh.
Distantly, Deku's familiar yell rang out, followed by a loud boom.
Ochako's job may be over, but yours is far from it.
Warnings: tw food/diet talk! I know this could be triggering for some people. Ochako just idly complains about something, i don’t think it goes into too much detail, but just in case this symobl → ** will be before the moment.

Genre: Fluff! (they. hangout. it’s p wholesome)
A/N: This was requested by @princeasimdiya12! Thanks so much for the req, it was super fun to write this! I don’t write Dekusquad things very often so it was fun to explore their dynamics and characters :D
(also sorry for the wait! school is really cutting into my writing time :’C)
“Jeez, I’m beat!” Ochako huffed, her knees buckling as she dropped gracelessly into a chair. Izuku chuckled softly, pulling off his apron.
“Well, our shift was the longest, Ochako.” Izuku watched the girl nod as she pulled off her hair clips.
“Remind me why we decided to take the first wave,” She whined, just as Tenya walked into the room.
“Taking the first wave makes the most sense if we’d like to catch the firework show they’re doing tonight, Ochako.” Tenya reminded, placing his order book on the table and working on the laces of his dress shoes.
can I please have a drabble/headcanon/scenario (idk what to call them but I’m talking about the bullet points) about bakugou angrily confessing his crush after school to a gender neutral reader? If you have the time :)
Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x Gender Neutral Reader
Warnings: none!
Genre: Fluff (i’m p sure?? its nothing sad so-)
A/N: you got it anon! Same lmao, I always forget what to call something when i make an ask. A crushing Bakugou is a good Bakugou, I love making him so flustered he’s angry lol. Thanks so much for the ask! 💖✨
Also, this reads more like a drabble im so sorry-
ALSO also, I didn’t make Mineta gross or anything? I didn’t need a villain so he’s just kind of annoying and not. A horrible person like in most fics lol. (rip to kami btw, poor bby just hates studying dammit! It makes him feel dumb :( but his friends help him out and hype him up don’t worry!!!)
Bakugou honest to god forgot you were even in the class for most of the first year.
It wasn't until your second year that he noticed you; you two got paired for quirk evaluations. You beat him, miraculously. He begrudgingly gained respect for you, and stopped calling you an extra! Though 'cry baby' really isn't any better. It didn't even make sense! You were 100 percent sure you'd never cried in front of your classmates- excluding Tokoyami.
You two were on pretty favorable terms, not friendly by any means, but he didn't snarl at you like he used too.
It all took a turn when you started tutoring Kaminari separately; you noticed how often the boy cried. As much as you love Kami, it was noticeably harder for the others to focus on Bakugou's explanations when he bawled from his frustration.
So you offered to tutor him separately on the dorm lawn to minimize any disturbance his crying might cause.
You also offered to share the cooking load with Bakugou and Sato, knowing the two boys were always dead on their feet by the end of the month. It was hard to feed so many people so often. Bakugou blinked at you, mouth parted slightly. You almost started to sweat under his blank gaze, but he quickly looked away, a scowl now on his pink face.
You thought you were doing bakugou a favor, to be honest! But instead, he treated you worse than an extra. He started glaring at you the entirety of the class, swearing at you even when you hadn't addressed him, and losing his temper quickly if you DID talk to him.
You were quick to sulk about the development to Tokoyami, who answered in a complicated haiku you couldn't be bothered to understand.
One week, he'd completely lose it if you even looked at him, which only frustrated you more. How did you two go from almost friends to complete enemies?
Friday of that week included another 180 from Bakugou. He went absolutely quiet, not even acknowledging his friends. Bakugou refused to make eye-contact with only you, though. You really thought he was planning your murder in his head.
Just as the last bell rings, Bakugou pulls you out of your seat by your wrist and hauls you into the hallway. You struggle a little, nerves rising. He didn't even let you pack your things! Hopefully, Tokoyami does it for you. Mineta's sticky paws were itching to get at your favorite pencil, a cute mechanical pencil with Kamui woods as a topper. You'd be DAMNED if you let him win.
"Stop squirming," He grunted, stopping short and causing you to slam into his back. You hiss and jump as far away from him as possible, muttering a small apology just as he continued his trek.
Bakugou leads you both to the boy's first-floor bathroom. It's there where he finally lets go of your wrist.
"Can you please tell me why you dragged me here now?" You sighed, rubbing your wrist. He hadn't held you too tight, but his hand left some glycerin on your wrist, and you figured you should wipe some of it off.
"Sit down," Bakugou grumbled, dropping to the floor in front of you and crossing his legs. You blinked at him slowly, waiting for him to get mad at you, before sitting down.
"Don't talk until I'm done," Bakugou huffed. You startled as you noticed he was blushing, his ears and cheeks bright red.
"How do I know when your-" You start, cocking your head.
"I told you not to talk!" Bakugou...whined, sounding weirdly embarrassed. You closed your mouth promptly, nodding. Bakugou cleared his throat and seemingly forced a scowl back onto his face.
"For one, fuck you. You're a pest." Bakugou glared at you, and you couldn't help your flinch in response.
"Hold on-" You tried, but Bakugou pinched your leg hard enough to make you yelp in surprise.
"Shut up, let me finish," Bakugou murmured, and you sighed but stayed quiet.
"For two, you're good at fighting," Bakugou said through clenched teeth.
Your eye twitched in response. Your face is flaming, you're sure of it.
"For three, I...don't hate you." Bakugou rushed out, quickly looking down and away from you. You froze, eyeing him blankly.
Soon enough, your brain processes what he just said to you.
"Bakugou, do you? Do you like me?" Your eyes narrow, trying to decipher if he meant what you think he said.
"Yeah, and what of it, cry, baby?" He barked, crossing his arms. You laughed hollowly, leaning your head against the wall.
"I really thought you were gonna kill me," You laughed. Bakugou's face fell for a second before his glower returned.
"Hah, who you do think you're laughing at? Whatever," Bakugou stands, stuffing his hands in his pockets and walking away quicker than you could even lift yourself off the ground.
You curse as you stand, stumbling down the hallway behind him.
"Wait, Bakugou! Wait up, dammit!" You yell, running to catch up to him. Finally, you manage to grab him by the shoulder and pull him to a stop.
He growls lowly but doesn't shrug off your hold. You pant for a second, regaining the embarrassing amount of breath you lost from the short run.
"Don't be mad at me! I was just surprised, is all. I didn't mean to make fun of you." You laughed, smiling at him. Bakugou grumbled but nodded tightly.
"But I was confused, so could you clarify what you were asking? If you were asking something," You winced, fearing you had assumed too much. Bakugou scoffed and brought up a hand to pull off yours from his shoulder.
"Don't be stupid, you couldn't offend me if you tried," Bakugou said. You couldn't help but smile at his tone. He probably tried his hardest to offend you with that comment, but he spoke too softly to be anything but fond.
"I'll see you tomorrow? We can swing by an Ikayaki stall I know near a park." You grinned, crossing your arms. Bakugou looked at you like you had suggested you both eat manure tomorrow.
"Fuck no, none of that gross squid shit. We're getting Nikuman and going to an Arcade. Now stop bothering me, cry baby." Bakugou stomps away before you can complain. HE dragged YOU, damn it!
Still, you can't help but celebrate quietly, excitement building in you.
He kisses you quickly, just a peck on the cheek once you've made it back to the dorms. He coughs out a goodnight and is gone before you can even blink. Good, because you smiled like an idiot right after.
You find out next week that the Bakusquad had been eavesdropping. Bakugou tells you that they had apparently assumed you rejected him in the hall, so when they saw him at lunch that day, they tried to comfort him.
He recounts what they told him while Kirishima, Kaminari, and Mina nurse their aching heads. Bakugou's head swats are nothing if not stinging.
dude being a little kid during an election year was THE funniest thing. kids were all just repeating their parent’s political beliefs verbatim without understanding any of what they were saying. My elementary school did a mock election and I didn’t know what was going on so I just voted for Obama because thats what everyone else was doing. My friend and I were chatting on a swing set and she said to me “I hope Mitt Romney gets elected because I don’t think Obama will get anything done” bitch you are 9
I have just been informed that you ALREADY have a simp-wife? Bullshit. I love you more, goddamnit. I challenge her to a duel for your heart. It's on SIGHT. Ur MY honey 👿💖💖🥵😤

oh! my first crush was. in the first grade. on this blonde boy. because. he had an adventure time backpack. only reason. (he turned out to be a dick and bullied me behind my back, along with my OTHER crush. who was my long-time crush. fuck boys.)
except for my other, OTHER crush in the fourth grade. he told me ‘you can never have too much coal’ and every time I play Minecraft I remember that conversation so clearly.
film; favorite movie/tv show?
damn, I’d have to say my favorite movie is Marvel’s The Avengers and tv show would be The Amazing World of Gumball. 😊
What we have in most so-called ‘democracies’ now is something imitating representative democracy. This is where the people elect representatives who are supposed to act in their interests. The trouble with this is, of course, that those representatives can and do fail to act in the interests of those they are supposed to represent. Direct democracy, however, cuts out the middle-man and involves the populace directly voting on policy and initiatives.
The problem with this is that it is hard to manage, though e-democracy could provide a solution to this, utilising technology to educate voters and allow them to register their votes online. It also requires much greater participation from the populace than representative democracy does. This is frequently used as a criticism, but I’d argue that people would be much more interested and engaged in the governing of their community if they weren’t so disenfranchised, since working class people often have very little stake in society or in politics under a capitalist, representative democracy.
Reblog an ask game. I want to be nosy. This IS a death threat.
