If you had all the time and money in the world, how would you ideally learn your target language?*
*you CANNOT move to/live in a country where it's spoken
#pay for private lessons ideally with a native speaker#make friends with a few native speakers#buy books in target language#start off with kids/picture books and gradually increase difficulty#pay for a subscription to tv in that lang (if there is one)#visit countries (if thats allowed) where its spoken#if not then at least visit places like restaurants or districts or smthg#would also do my best to really understand that culture so I get WHY#like honorifics and politeness registers really require some understanding of the culture#see if there's any clubs/groups learning the lang to try and learn together
