Studying for my stagehand journeyman test for my local and Iāve learned:
1) Stargate SG-1 still works as my study background
2) Being a visual learner and not being able to draw sucks.
3) Tracing is god tier and idk why Iāve never done it beforeā¦
4) White Gel pen is not a substitute for white outā¦ will test paint pens and report back
5) black rubber bands exist and are the only acceptable way to secure your index cards containing stagehand info.
6) Make snacks beforehand because decision paralysis will kick in.
7) Always invest in a lap deskā¦ seriously I donāt have one and my back is killing meā¦
8) take breaks!
9) Setting Stargate aside as my study show forces the ADHD gremlin to go into study mode. Stargate on flashcards out.
10) coloring the drawings adds another memorization step so after the initial tracing and writing out the definition I go back and review the already made cards and then go back and color the new ones and study all of them again. Itās slow but effective.
11) Initial test of acrylic paint pen as white out failed. So white out it is.
