Perdita hasn't picked up a tool that isn't a pen in her entire life until Eiland who ropes her up into archeology (she thinks he meant archeology as in studying not as in digging) and Adeline who ropes her up into making Mistria better the manual way (Perdita thinks they just have to follow a manual). She has to be tricked into it.

At the complete opposite, Philippa yearns for the mines. She works odd jobs so if the farmer needs someone to go in the mines with them, she will! However, she might ask: "Why are you talking to the dragon statues, farmer?" Or "Why are you making goo goo eyes at the dragon symbols on the walls, farmer?". Since she's not magically inclined (beyond her friendship with Juniper), she will think the farmer is a lil insane (in a good way!).

What are some weird questions Phillipa asks Balor?

Anyways,

As previously established, Phillipa writes spicy books however her one true wish is to write dark commentary on society by following moral dubious character, such as let's say,,, a thief running away to the country side. All with a generoys side of spice ofc :)

Pippa ends up following her sister to Mistria in hopes of getting out of her writing slump and finally write again and something more than just a formulaic romance (which she loves reading and writing but would love to diversify (her puplisher doesn't like that idea)). And then there he is, smack-dap in ghe middle of Mistria's square, a man that looks and acts exactly like her main character, the dashing thief!!

She decides to investigate and to inquire more about the mysterious merchant and his luscious locks yet doesn't want to reveal her true purpose to him--aka use him as inspiration shamelessly. And so she asks him enough varied and intrusive questions to throw him off her scent.

Thus, the weird questions amidst deeply pertinent and pointed observations. "How far would society have to push you to turn to crime?" is sprinkled between "would you rather be turned into jam or be pickled?" and "if a fox is domesticated to hunt other foxes, when does it stop being a fox?" Etc.

How does Phillipa feel when Balor keeps alluding to potential leaving Mistria any day?

Hi!! Thank you for sending in an ask about her (*´˘`*)♡

So to answer your question! Phillipa is a free spirit, despite being very close to her sister, she doesn't mind being away from the people she loves. She's the type of person that you can ghost for 2 years and meet with again and it will feel like you never lost touch yk?

That being said, I think that Balor leaving or hinting at it can go one of two ways:

- this happens towards the end of Pippa's arc and story and they are close enough (perhaps romantically involved) that Pippa would 100% go with him. She loves seeing the world and often travels to find inspiration for her next novel so she wouldn't mind a life on the road;

- now to the angst, if they aren't close enough (very close friends but not best friends or dating) and Pippa hasn't managed to grow out of her sister's shadow and step into her own, she will take it personally but not in an explosive way. It's not the hints at leaving that will hurt her, she will be alright letting him go and probably insist they keep writing to each other but if he doesn't tell her and she learns it from someone else, she will be deeply hurt. She gets that everyone has secrets but this is too important for him to omit. She's very laid back so her hurt would show in her absence more than anything. She'd stop visiting him as often, won't be asking him her weird questions, and won't show the care she usually does to her close friends. If confronted, she'll downplay it, very few will know why she's truly hurting, though it will be obvious she is well from her distant stares and her not showing up as much in the town, preferring the quiet of the woods. Balor would have to be the one to break the silence and show his own fears and vulnerabilities if he would want to fully heal their relationship.

The quality remains real bad

This is Perdita, the anxious secretary of one of the biggest nobility in the capital. She escapes her old abusive employer by coming to Mistria and despite her original cold professional demeanor is soon melted away by the kindness of the townies. She has a distrust and initial fear of Eiland as he reminds her of her old employer because of his title. He quickly gets through to her because he doesn't show interest in anything other than archeology, dnd and cakes (none of which imply any inherent desire for world domination or ruling others which helps to settle Perdita's nerves). She becomes Adeline's assistant helping her run the town so that Eiland or Elsie may not be kidnapped to help her manage taxes every week.

Her best friends are Adeline and Hayden and she's the responsible dry humoured sister of Phillipa.

Both of the ocs are more like npcs so that other farmers can interact with them and it won't interrupt the continuum of their stories ANYWAYS

This is Phillipa, a spunky author who wrote your mom's favorite erotica, not that she would ever admit it. She comes to Mistria in an attempt to escape her publisher and finally write the story she always wanted to write: a dark introspective look at a charming roguish thief running away from the law and from himself (looks an awful lot like Balor, how peculiar). She begins doing odd jobs here and there, mostly stalking using Balor as inspiration for her novel.

Her best friends are Juniper and Elsie and she is the chaos and sunshine in her sister Perdita's life.

Both of the ocs are more like npcs so that other farmers can interact with them and it won't interrupt the continuum of their stories ANYWAYS

Okay I’ve been seeing a lot of posts across social media platforms about MC’s recent behaviour with Sylus and how it’s caused quite the debate, so here’s my unbiased opinion as a Zayne girlie.

I think the main problem here that happened was that in the last few cards like grassland romance, lost oasis and the boxing one (sorry I forgot the name), MC and Sylus had been pretty soft with each other when compared to the recent two cards that came out. This sudden shift of dynamic I feel threw some people off because one moment MC and Sylus are hugging and getting engaged (kind of), and the other moment she is okay with setting him up as bait to another woman and refusing to treat his wounds (searing touch).

Now personally, enemies to lovers is not my favoured choice of romance tropes (evidently cuz I’m a Zayne girlie) but I feel like the extreme change of situations is slightly off putting. Even I was surprised by just how dismissive MC was of Sylus in searing touch.

HOWEVER

This does not mean that players start overreacting and sending mails to infold asking a change in MC’s character! That is absolutely wrong and will horribly impact the storyline they’ve set. Even if I think that MC was a little too distant in searing touch, she by no means owes shit to anyone! Sylus was RUDE AF in the beginning and if I were to put myself in her shoes, I’d seriously get the man arrested. She’s keeping his identity and life a secret, and being cooperative. I think that’s progress enough.

We’re all allowed to have our own opinions on the matter and each person’s views matter! But guys let’s have some patience and trust infold, because they would never fuck up a character as popular as Sylus, nor his storyline. We barely know anything about the dude. Just because he’s hot doesn’t mean he’s gonna be completely right.

So let’s not fight and promote love and patience🫶 Sylus and MC have a long way to go, so in my unbiased opinion I’d request all the sylus girlies to just wait a little until his myth pair cards come out! Sending everyone love🩷
