I was actually really enjoying season 2 for the first 12ish episodes, but then in the last 4ish episodes they just did a marathon of awful writing choices.
It started with the big Langdon Santos confrontation that Al Hashimi overhead, and it was definitely a very dramatic plot. But then, they just ... don't follow through on the drama? Al Hashimi is cold with langdon and confronts Robby, but after she discovers a coverup she never confronts Robby or Langdon, or reach out to Santos. So now she either never mentions this for 4 months or it happens off screen.
Then it's blatantly obvious that they drastically cut down Mohans scenes, resulting in *Duke* of all people getting more screen time!
After that we get fet a bizarre scene where Al Hashimi tells Robby how amazing he is and tells him about her secret disability that endangers patients. Despite Robby spending 14 hours undermining her, belittling her, accusing her of incompetence, and directly questioning her ability as an attending. And also one hour before Robby leaves for 4 months, potentially forever. Oh and 15 minutes later she goes and talks with an actual neurological expert.
*And*, they shoved an entire season long story into a single episode st the very end of the season!
But the absolute worst thing was when we get back to back scenes of *Mohan* apologizing to *robby* for being incompetent, followed by Robby lecturing Al-Hashimi about how irresponsible she is and she can't be a doctor with her condition, something the show presents as morally correct. Both of their stories were about how Robby was right to doubt them and belittle them
Then they they do a painfully pathetic shot where Robby literally has a halo.
