This song hits different when you’ve been there. When you’ve been the person to be scared when someone you love is in the hospital, but also stayed so strong. This is a song I relate to and will always hold a special place in my heart. My dad has been in and out of the hospital my whole life as he has been on dialysis for 26 years. In this one, I truly felt that Taylor and I were one in the same. The harmonizing is just as beautiful as the lyrics. I will forever be greatcul Taylor decided to release this song.

Fearless Tattoo...

I’ve been to the RED tour and 1989 tour, and been a Taylor fan since the first single. As a kid up until about 8th grade I would write Fearless on my wrist everyday as a reminder that my dream was to be like Taylor. My goal for the Reputation tour is to meet Taylor and have her write Fearless on me so that I can get it as a tattoo on my shoulder. Even if someone else met her and got her to write fearless on something so that I could get it tattooed I would honestly be so blessed! @taylorswift

Losing A Friend

I watched an 8 year old cry today because her friend was going to a different school next year and she said to me with tears streaming down her face and lips quivering, “It’s so hard to lose a friend”. As any sensible adult would I gave her a hug and let her know she would be okay after a while.

 Then it hit me...

I’ve lost more friends in my life than I will ever be able to count. I’ve lost friends from them switching schools, moving away, and even passing away. None of these losses hurt as much as the friends that have dropped me and pretended like they don’t even know me anymore. None of these losses hurt as much as knowing that you still have your friend as a favorite in your phone but you will never get a text from them again. None of these losses hurt as much as knowing that you still have a place in your heart for someone that lied and betrayed you. Someone you thought would never drift away, that has completely abandoned you, not only physically but emotionally too. 

Today that sweet 8 year old taught me a lesson. You will “lose” many friends in life and each time it will hurt a little differently, but the one that will hurt the most is the one that never technically went away, but instead left you on their own terms without any warning or reason. 

What I wish I could’ve told that young girl is that in life you are most often your own best friend and the only one you can count on, but I didn’t have the heart to.

Has anyone else noticed Taylor Connect is no longer available on the website. Ive lost connection with some of my friends from different countries because of this. I used Taylor Connect for years!
