There Were Moments of Gold

Summary: The first time Yixing fell for Kris, it felt like he was flying down towards Earth through the stratosphere like a meteorite. This time it was like bubbling magma was running through his veins in a torturously slow manner that he wasn’t sure he could handle much longer.

Thoughts: I love how this fic begins! The summary really doesn’t give much away but basically it’s just Yixing re-falling in love with Yifan all over again. There are surprises along the way and I’m glad that I still like it as much as I did when I first read it!

Bunny Loafs

In which Yixing is always so comfortable that he just...flops. And maybe looks a little dead.

Thoughts: This was the most adorable fic ever! Yixing deserves all the love and this fic gives him all of it! Highly recommend for fluff and just overall adorableness.

I guess you call it longing

Summary: Yixing, a painter who takes his work to the park to try to get out of an artistic funk, sees a beautiful man and can't get him out of his head. It changes everything.

Thoughts: This was such a beautiful fic omg. I love the visuals and how the entire world was painted *pun intended* with words. Gorgeous, gorgeous fic and super romantic too.

What We Do in the Living Room

Thoughts: This is like lowkey crack and I flipping love it. If I’m not wrong, it’s inspired by CBX’s Halloween costumes and boy, is it perfecttttt.

Summary: Next in line for the throne, Prince Chanyeol of Reind decided to spend his last months of freedom riding across the Empire, before the wedding bound him in Reind. During his stay in the city of Brimrock, he happened to meet a certain priest of the Entity of Night. Things were not the same, anymore.

Thoughts: I read this one on the subway in Korea and I literally could not put it down until I finished the last word. I love the worldbuilding and the language. Can you tell I really love their works? I really do love their work.

Summary: Chanyeol and Junmyeon are soul mates, tied by the red thread of fate. The only problem is that Chanyeol is a bumbling high schooler, and Junmyeon is a thirty-one year-old accountant who doesn't want anything to do with him. But people are tied together for a reason, and they're both about to find out why.

Thoughts: So I’m not usually a big fan of age gap fics but this was such a great read. Half of me was waiting for it to turn to angst and end angsty but it was also super fluffy and beautifully written.

Thoughts: When I wrote this, it was mostly self-indulgent. I didn’t know that people would actually enjoy it, but I’m so glad they do! It is probably one of my favourite works this year and it gave me so much joy to write!

Kitchen Sink Symphony

Thoughts: GAAAAAAH! THIS IS THE MOST ADORABLE and also the most DELICIOUS fic ever! I love baking and pastries and bakery aus are always one of my favs. I love Sehun’s extreme knowledge about cheesecakes (which came in handy the first time I ever baked one) and the fact that he can cook as well as he bakes. Jongin is such a supportive friend and Yifan too!

Thoughts: I wrote this for kissfanxing. It was mainly meant to be something more experimental because I’ve never done such a dark concept before and it just came to me. So not very plot based, just characters and dark things happening.

Come In Closer Still

This Is As Good As It’s Gonna Get

Thoughts: I love this fic. This is probably one of my favourite PWPs ever. There are a lot of little snippets about what the other teachers are like which I am totally intrigued by and honestly would just love an entirely office au based on them.

Thoughts: This was one of my favourite fics that I’ve ever written before I wrote Paint Samples. It’s a superhero and villain au that I wrote for EXOLEAGUE which by the way is one of the best fic fests to ever exist. There’s an outtake in the series along with a sequel. Please heed warnings in this fic, especially for the outtake.

Thoughts: Whew. This is possibly one of my newer favourites. I love how Junmyeon was portrayed in this and how serious Yifan is about Junmyeon’s safety. It’s mildly fantasy which I really enjoyed and I hope that one day there would be more in this universe!

A Jade Pendant

Summary: Junmyeon never thought that he would ever do much more than smile and bow politely before the Prince of Dragons. One situation leads to another, and somehow, Junmyeon finds himself thinking of Prince Yifan far more often than he should.

Thoughts: I love thisssss. Okay, I say that about pretty much every fic that I’ve read but that’s what this blog is for anyway, for me to keep track of all the fics that I’ve loved throughout the years. But yes, Junmyeon and Yifan’s characters in this are so cuteee and I love how the progression of their relationship is gradual and not sped up. All the animal kingdoms as well are so cool!
