My favorite Zendaya fashion moments
“I’ve had worse…”
“[Adrienne to Raven] Let’s show them how it’s done the proper way." (Can we all just pretend that Aqua is actually Gabriella, ty) x.
“The only place I can’t find is the opening for my favorite show, ‘Six White Complainers’! I believe in America, it’s called… Friends.”
And the award for "Most Underrated Disney Leading Man" goes to…
“Mr. Pendery will see you now.”
The way it was meant to be. Welcome to the team, Spidey.
Anonymous asked: Steve Rogers x Peggy or Sharon Carter?
Now, are we gonna see any familiar Marvel faces?
End? No, the journey doesn’t end here…The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it. (2001–2014)
Anonymous asked: “Who would you cast in the Wicked movie?”
Elphaba –
Lea Michele, 28. I know what you’re thinking. Shocker, right? It’s much more than just the practically uncanny resemblance to original Elphie, Idina Menzel, though. We’ve already heard her sing two of my personal favorites from the musical on her show Glee. First up, “Defying Gravity.” It was so iconic that we didn’t just hear it once, but twice. First time around was amazing. Second time though? Beautiful. Next, “For Good.” She took after her TV mom once more when she sang this just a few months ago with none other than Glinda the Good Witch herself, Kristen Chenoweth. If that wasn’t magical enough, remember when she sang it during Glee's season 2 finale? How can you possibly see her on the Wicked stage and not get chills? She has practically auditioned for the part through her show and nailed it. Definitely my first choice, though I do have to minus some points for the fact that she has already portrayed a character of Oz already as Dorothy.
Samantha Barks, 24. Fan favorite, from what I’ve seen, and I can tell why. She has portrayed Éponine from Les Misérables on both the stage and the big screen. Before reprising her role for the 2012 film adaption, she performed in the London production. If that doesn’t prove her talent, I don’t know what does. Barks even takes a whack of her own at Elphaba’s iconic anthem, “Defying Gravity”. Here we see that she can totally pull off the wicked role. I would love to see her as Elphaba seeing as she’d bring a totally different feel to the role, however, she just isn’t my first choice. Nonetheless, I don’t think she’d disappoint.
(Notable Mention: Janel Parrish)
Fiyero –
Nolan Gerard Funk, 28. I understand that this might be a long shot and that this guy has probably never even crossed your mind, but if you were a kid/teen in the early 2000s like myself, you already know mighty well that Funk can sing and dance as you most likely saw him in the Nickelodeon TV movie, Spectacular! Take a look at this little number and watch him perfectly capture the personality of Fiyero through his cool cockiness and intense dance moves, all with a slightly hardcore twist. But you don’t have to worry, Teennick-Heartthrob isn’t the only thing on his resume. He was also Conrad Birdie in the revival of Bye Bye Birdie. If only I had a quality video of those hip thrusts. This guy is definitely my number one choice. He’s a totally fresh face to this production and I think that’s great. Oh, and let’s also not forget that he totally has the typical Fiyero-look, am I right?
Aaron Tveit, 31. There really isn’t much to say, as Aaron Tveit simply is Fiyero. Reason being that he isn’t my first choice is, again, Funk is a fresh face whereas Tveit has played the role of Fiyero twice. And though he’s only the second oldest on my list and just a few years older than the rest, some may consider him somewhat too old to play the part. Where Tveit differs from the rest is that he does look his age and then some. At least the others can somewhat pass as University students. But who am I kidding? Would anyone really be upset if Aaron Tviet reprised his role as Fiyero once again, and this time with beautiful high definition visuals and audio? No.
(Notable mention: Grant Gustin)
G(a)linda –
Laura Osnes, 29. More so than any of the others, I am actually quite passionate about this one. I get that she doesn’t look like your typical Glinda. In other words, she’s not blonde. But that’s an easy fix. If you’re not familiar with Laura Osnes, maybe you’ll remember her as the winner of Grease: You’re the One That I Want! where she earned the role of Sandra Dee herself in the Broadway revival of Grease. Other Broadway works of hers include Bonnie & Clyde and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (will you just look at her in that dress). If you still don’t think she has what it takes, you’ve obviously never watched this video. Everything about it, starting from the second she walks up on stage all the way to the last note just screams Glinda. If you’re impatient, go ahead and skip all the way to the last bit and I promise it will change your life. She’s wearing a freaking tiara, for God’s sake. Get the girl a bottle of bleach for her hair and we’re all good.
Kristen Bell, 34. In all honesty, Bell would most likely be my first choice if it weren’t for her A-List celebrity stature. That, and she is much older than the rest of the performers on my list. This doesn’t bother me much though because of her extremely youthful presence. In my eyes, she is the perfect Glinda. She has the look, the personality and most importantly, the talent. I definitely would love to see her as Glinda.
(Notable Mention: Brittany Snow)
(Bonus: Darren Criss or Daniel Radcliffe as Boq. Meryl Streep as Madame Morrible. Zooey Deschanel as Nessarose. Idina Menzel and Norbert Leo Butz as the parents because how great would that be)
No toy gets left behind.
God bless the Minho sass we all wanted but didn’t get to see.
