PRECIOUS time flows from the watch on my wrist , memories wash away and end up in a wide o c e a n . the past and the present flow the same way , but i have ( regrets ) about missed opportunities . guess i’m still far from becoming an ADULT — or no , i just don’t want to , guess i’m acting like a b a b y ; wishing that the past would come back is nothing but a dream .

memphis paused for a moment, she had never really thought about a reason behind being positive before. after turning for a moment to think, she had an epiphany. "well," she started, "i was raised to be happy, y'know? being happy has always been better than being sad, or upset, or apathetic, don't you think? living to see the good in things is much more fun than trying to see the bad... or at least that's what my mom says!" memphis smiled broadly, holding up her phone.

memphis listened to the best of her ability, though she had little success making sense of what the other girl meant. nodding anyways, she beamed, "i don't really understand, but i'm sure nature appreciates you!" quickly scanning the area, memphis racked her brain for places the bag might be hiding. "blue bag with sunflowers, hm... didja have it when we left the last stop?"
