Working Hard At Hardly Working || Draven and Shane [Past Para]
Draven probably wouldn’t have cared about being locked out of the hotel room all day while she went to work, he would probably just go drink or wander around town and come home when she did still not having a job. That trick wouldn’t work on Draven, he would work when he was ready but Shane wasn’t seeming to accept that. He just grumbled and gave up because he knew that she had won the argument, he was still sulking on his bed when she came out. The male Hellhound hated to lose their bickering sessions. He was kind of confused when she had even requested two beds, she should have known he slept with her and not anywhere else. Even when Draven met girls in the cities they lived in he would do whatever he did with them but always be right home each night to sleep by Shane’s side, he’d never spent the night anywhere except with her. He assumed she probably got the two beds to keep up the appearances, they seemed to work awfully hard at that lately. Of course Draven knew what he could and couldn’t get away with when it came to Shane, he knew that anyone else would have been slapped for turning her over and grabbing her as he did but he knew she wouldn’t hit him - admittedly he knew he could get away with a lot more than anyone else when it came to his sister. Of course whatever thoughts were running through Shane’s head were just mirrored in Draven’s. Why did he like having her close to him so much? He tried to just console himself with the thought that it was probably just because she was familiar to him, the only constant in his life but of course in the back of his mind he knew it was more than that. "I know…but I just worry." He whispered back, sounding just like that frightened little boy all those years ago for a few brief moments - that was until she mentioned the housewife thing and he glared at her. "Oh I think you just like the thought of me in a dress being your bitch." He teased her and wrinkled his nose when she kissed between his eyes. "You’d have it all wouldn’t you? A clean house and a bitch in a dress at home. I don’t think so." He growled at her.
Shane leaned back and looked at him, caressing Draven's cheek until the sweet moment of him being akin to a young boy again was over. They had been so warm and cozy like that, her brown eyes focused on his lips for the moment-- and then it was over and she felt as if she had bene thrown into ice water.
Blinking back the stun she felt at Draven's suddenly crass words, Shane narrowed her eyes at her brother and growled right back. "Damn fucking right you're my bitch, you do act like one, you know, staying home all day and everything." She quipped with a grin, shoving him onto his back as she straddled his hips and pinned his hands above his head.
"Try to break out of it, then we'll see who the real bitch is." The brunette's eyes flashed dangerously with a challenge, hoping the younger of the two took her up on it. Just laying there was getting boring, and even though she was exhausted from work, she wasn't sleepy. Rolling around play fighting like two cubs was infinitely more entertaining than sleeping anyway.
