I keep seeing ads for Zachary Quinto's new medical drama Brilliant Minds (or as I call it, "Dr. Quinto, Medicine Woman"), featuring his voiceover talking about how it's so important to understand your patients as people and walk with them in an emotional sense, and all I can think of is, "wow, this is the AU where Spock was so influenced by McCoy that he went in to empathetic medicine"

I'm sorry this day has been a mess(TM), here some QSilva headcanons for you!

1. Raoul is very self-conscious about his prosthetic, to the point it takes him a long time before he even allows Q to kiss his cheek - let alone to allow himself to be seen without the prosthetic in place.

2. They never code together on the same project. The absurd perfectionism, the constant need to one up one another, the different coding style.. it all means that they would spend the entire time bickering rather than actually doing anything productive.

3. Every cool gun Q has tried to make for Raoul, while appreciated because a weapon is always handy, has never been as loved by the other man as the perfectly balanced throwing knife that Q has forged for him on MI6 dime while he was bored monitoring missions.

4. They are comfortable sharing silence while they pursue their own interests; it's not unusual for Q to be sprawled next to Raoul on the couch, sketching weapons and drinking tea, while the other man hacks his way into literally everywhere.

ok can you imagine if Viktor decides to take T and so he starts to grow facial hair and he asks Klaus to help him shave but then Luther and Diego hear about this and so insist in also showing him how to shave and the three of them end up bickering over the proper way and what style is best. Then Five chimes in with his older wisdom in how they’re all stupid and doing it wrong and takes over

In terms of personality and temperament Jordan is more like Lois and Jon is more like Clark. 

And where Jordan and Lois are a little more moody and therefore likelier to get upset and have an outburst of emotion, Jon and Clark are generally very even-tempered. They’re slower to get upset and also more likely to deal with their emotion quietly. 

Which makes it really interesting that we got a parallel this season with both Jon and Clark getting uncharacteristically angry and having their heat vision flare up as a result of the effects of the X-K and Bizarro respectively. 

There are also potentially some parallels between how Lois handles her relationship with Lucy and how Jordan handles his relationship with Jon.

Carol saying “I don’t have anything to prove to you.” meant so much to me because she literally had been told all the way through the movie, by a man, that she was too emotional. And she just totally disregards him and uses her anger and throws him away (literally) because she doesn’t owe him shit and she’s more powerful, so why should she fight with one hand tied behind her back?
