projecting my self identification issues to nora. we can be disillusioned together. with trying to keep a perfect image. there's many days you wonder what face to wear today. to be relaxed or uptight. what do you want to be seen as? what am i? what is under all these faces?
is it a face that's mine?
while not sure of my own pd's (at this time) , nora's specific struggles often related to npd and self actualization they really strike true to me. being upheld to standards is no new thought to me or her. but as we uphold ourselves to further and further achievements or ideas we lose what we thought was best for us. i can't choose what face is today, and i must accept that. my face is my face, regardless of how i try to form it to be ideal. nora helps me accept myself as ideal, as me. in grief or in happiness my face rings true of what it was all along. no masking makeup or "fixing" could change what is the base of this image.
i will be liked or unlikable regardless. i should be true to what i desire
hey guys i hate that i have to say this but if youāre under 18 please respect my boundaries and dont join my discord. donāt subscribe to my patreon (literally has a warning that itās only for 18+ audiences). i cant stop you from following me or interacting with my posts, especially considering TPTM isnāt explicitly 18+ so there are a lot of underage fans, but like maybe dont just brazenly waltz into my private, curated spaces against my very clear wishes. this is the fastest way to get banned/blocked. iām not oblivious to these actions :(
and iām not asking for a lot by setting this boundary. this is a matter of safety for my underage fans and basic human respect for me. it hurts my feelings and makes me really uncomfortable when you disrespect my boundaries. iām a person, too. please be kind and respectful to me. if you like my art, itās the least you can do.
my next project will have overt sexual themes and explore kink culture. i canāt control who reads it, but i would at least like to make sure my circle of online pals are adults who i trust can handle it. i know thatās a bit of a jump from TPTM, which mostly had fleeting themes of sexuality, but as i have become more of an adult, i want to make art about things that are important to me, and i think thatās okay. this is all to say that i would like to cultivate an online audience that has grown up as well. so again, i will stress, if you are under 18, please do not join my server, my patreon, or try to become close friends with me.
thank you for your understanding. a lot of minors have been very respectful of my boundaries, and i appreciate that greatly. please continue to do that and encourage your friends in the community to do the same šŖ²šŖ³š·ļøš¦ššš¦š
Everyone saying "If you're suicidal please reach out for help, we'll take care of you and make sure you're okay!"
But what they actually mean is "If you say the evil scary S Word we will unperson you, have the police come and kidnap you and take you to a facility against your will, where you be refused any contact with loved ones and will have all of your bodily autonomy and human rights stripped from you, and you will be abused and drugged."
Dear disabled people in school, please know your rights! If you have an IEP or a 504 plan with your school, your accommodations are not suggestions; a teacher cannot refuse them. If a teacher, coach, or other school staff chooses to ignore or disregard your accommodations, you can and should report them to the school.
The school, under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, will not/cannot tell the teacher that it was you who reported them, nor can the teacher question you or your class about being reported.
Remember it's against the law for the school or anyone representing/working for them to deny you your accommodations, no matter your age or grade, no matter the disability, and no matter how the school is funded.
Surprise! Our Wonderland is (finally) coming to Steam!
Thanks to the incredible kindness of Project EnsÅ, my queer horror game, Our Wonderland, is coming to Steam! It will be the complete remastered version packed with new art and goodies!
This is a second chance for the game after the itch deindexing. Wishlist it now!
Our Wonderland stars an asexual protagonist trying to figure himself (and the rest of his dysfunctional friend group) out after they're thrust back into the wish-granting wonderland of their youth. Either they face the issues plaguing them or risk dying in horrific ways again⦠and again⦠and again.
In addition to updated art and new features as part of the remaster, this version will also have full controller support, achievements, and a QoL overhaul, making it the best and most complete way to enjoy the game. Iām hard at work on it and hope to release it later this year!
[Image ID: 1. Digital art showing the corner of a well furnished room. In the top right corner the text, "how to build rooms by anonbeadraws".
2. Digital art showing a small cube and pyramid, next to them are nets of their respective shapes and text with their name. Text at the top, "So, did you guys ever build nets at school? Flat bits of paper but when you fold 'em right?" "Boom" "Cube". Text at the bottom "When I draw, I build my rooms the same way!" There is another shape at the bottom whose name I don't know, next to it is the text "okay this one might not work" with an arrow pointing towards it.
3. Digital art showing two blueprints on the right. Text to the left, "So, if you're building rooms / sets for comics or pieces where you will be redrawing a space a guide is essential. It keeps things from moving around too much by accident while you draw (it happens more than you think!) So! 1. Floorplan. Plan out your room, just bare bones, just the walls. 2. Fill your floor! Windows, block out furniture and doors, get it roughly planned." Blueprint one shows an empty room with walls. Blueprint two is the same room now with furniture and a few notes denoting windows, bookshelves, a table and a word I can't distinguish.
4. Digital art showing blueprint two (the floor) now with multiple empty rectangular panels (walls) surrounding it whose length align with the shape of the room. Text at the bottom, "3. Wall it up! Using the floor as a guide decide the height of your ceilings and walls!"
5. Digital art showing the the floor surrounded with decorated walls that have notes denoting the important wall features, windows and bookshelves. Text near the blueprint, "NB! Label walls if it helps you keep track!" Text at the bottom, "4. Decorate! Plan where your doors / shelves / decorations are, the more detail will help and keep your placements consistent!"
6. A gif taking the floor and using distort and perspective to change the angle so that it appears flat. Then the decorated walls are slowly added except for one that would block the audiences view into the room. Text at the bottom, "5. Build your angle! Using distort and perspective (on photoshop but other programs will have variants!) make your set!"
7. Digital art showing two rooms that progressively gain more detail from the original room made in the gif. Text to the left, "6. Fill out the room! So we have our guides set up, but they're flat to the wall! Now we begin to sketch them out onto 3d space using the wall lines as guides for the perspective. But also remember perfection isn't needed at this point (or ever tbh). Then clean up the sketchlines for ease!" The first room adds more depth with the beginning sketches of the furniture, windows and door. The next room is similar but with shadows and additional details to the windows, walls, floor, door and some of the furniture.
8. Digital art showing two rooms starting with a flipped version of the last room detailed. Text to the right, "7. Flip the room and redraw! Sometimes you miss the big glaring mistakes of perspectives and angles. Easiest way to spot them is flipping the canvas! No shame in doing it a few times, I do! Then get your final lines in!" The first room is a flipped version of the previous image's last room, I personally can not see any other differences. The next room is the final product, with all of the furniture fully formed, no more sketch lines and the line weight being much lighter, it is still flipped.
9. Digital art showing a close up of the final room, now in colour and no longer flipped. Text at the bottom, "8. Colour (if you wanna!)"
10. Digital art showing multiple perspectives both from the inside and outside of the room that was built during this tutorial. Text with arrows pointing at each of the perspectives, "Just a few examples!" Text at the bottom, "9. Have fun! Now you have your net, you can make any angle / perspective you need! Just make sure you save a spare copy of your original net to play with!" /. End ID]
First time doing an image description. I don't know if this was necessary but I could barely understand the font. I am sorry. That is also why my slashes have spaces between them. If that messes with someone's screen reader or something let me know. Beautiful tutorial and post by the way. Thank you.

reminder that this is the typical online experience for blind folks.
imagine if your dash, your Twitter feed, your fb looked like this. imagine if someone shared a photo with the comment "omg so cool!" and the above was all you could see. now imagine this happened hundreds of times. imagine that this was your normal experience interacting online.
add image descriptions to every image that you share. here and on every other social media platform. every time.
You cannot be 'woke' while wishing for children to be banned from most of public life. Like with any marginalised group, your annoyance at their existence does not justify oppression and inequality.
