“Jamie,” I said, and put a hand on his arm.

It was like touching a high-voltage wire; power hummed inside the insulation of his flesh, ready to erupt in a burst of crackling light. They say one can’t let go of such a line; a victim of electrocution simply freezes to the wire, helpless to move or save himself, as the current burns through brain and heart.

He put his hand on mine, looking down.

“A nighean donn,” he said, and smiled a little. “Have ye come to wish me luck, then?”

I smiled back as best I could, though the current sizzled through me, stiffening the muscles on my face as it burned.

“I couldn’t let you go without saying… something. I suppose ‘good luck’ will do.” I hesitated, words jamming in my throat with the sudden urge to say much more than there was time for. In the end, I said only the important things. “Jamie—I love you. Be careful!”

He didn’t remember Culloden, he said. I wondered suddenly whether that loss of memory extended to the hours just before the battle, when he and I had said farewell. Then I looked into his eyes and knew it did not.

“‘Good luck’ will do,” he said, and his hand tightened on mine, likewise frozen to the current that surged between us. “‘I love ye’ does much better.”

He touched my hand, lifted his own and touched my hair, my face, looking into my eyes as though to capture my image in this moment—just in case it should be his last glimpse of me.

Anti TLJ after seeing TROS

When I finally saw the trio in action together.

When I saw Rey being the hero that she was supposed to be after being a shadow in TLJ.

I really liked rise of skywalker

First of all I am anti-reylo and the kiss was odd and left field for me but the rest of the movie was great, here’s what I liked:

We got to see real interaction and friendship between the characters by having Finn, Poe, Rey, Chewie, C-3PO, and BB-8 together on a mission

Threepio is so charming I missed him and liked having him with the crew

We got closure through force ghost luke talking to Rey

Leia’s lightsaber and her training Rey

Co-generals Finn and Poe. (I still believe that they are together even if it wasn’t on screen)

The resistance coming together. Other ex-stormtroopers, etc.

Lando being iconic and leading the fight with the resistance.

All of the Jedi fighting through Rey

Chewie finally got his medal

Rey being ‘adopted’ as a skywalker being at peace with her past and her story. Staring at the binary sunset of Tatooine.

Even though all of the things in the tros tag are reylo don’t let that ruin all the other wonderful things the movie brought.

Y’all I really have to say, Rey had absolutely no positive and especially no romantic feelings towards kylo ren for the entirety of TROS, she stabbed him with intent to kill and I don’t believe for a second that she would have healed him if it wasn’t for Leia. She feels nothing but unhappiness towards him and runs away from him over and over but at the last minute she decides she “loves” him (according to you muppets) when A. She doesn’t actually know him at all besides that he’s a fucking tyrannical murderer who killed her only father figure and that he has no qualms about invading her mind whenever he wants with no respect or consent. She does not ONCE do this to him. The kiss was fanservice and made everyone in my cinema sigh in disgust. A woman beside me literally made a gagging noise, my boyfriend winced, my friend dropped his head in his hands for a moment. No one was happy. No one I know wanted that. To imply that Rey is STUPID enough to fall for someone who so consistently disrespects her and MURDERS HER FRIENDS baffles me to no end. All in all, I fucking hate Reylo, the end.
