Today as I drove through town I saw a dance studio and thought to myself how wonderful a tale it would be if the dance studio was a front for a mafia. It’s run by big buff dudes who know nothing about dance. But then a little girl who dreams of being a ballerina signs up for classes and these buff dudes have to learn dance and find their inner ballerina to keep up the front of their business. Spoiler alert - they find their moral compass along the way. Hallmark should hire me 😂

I just read the wicked king by Holly Black. So unbelievably good. But just wondering if anybody else thought of this theory? The earring that Grimsen gave Carden at the revel, what if it had special attributes like how Taryn’s did? I figured Grimsen wouldn’t give him anything that would give him the upper hand in the fight against Orlaugh, but what if it gave him some power that would be deemed silly to the Folk; such as the ability to see through lies? So that entire scene where he is asking Jude to tell him she hates him, he is hearing the truth.
