This is a list of my favourite Battle Alec moments. You’ll notice that it’s quite long but that’s probably because ALEC KICKED ASS SO MANY TIMES.
You’ll notice that in most situations, Alec is protecting someone else. He is shooting an arrow to save a life.
For those who say Alec is not a good fighter or he “just protects people”, a gentle reminder that these people might not be alive today if Alec hadn’t saved them.

When he saved Jace’s life by throwing himself in front of a greater demon
When he saved Magnus’s life in City of Glass
When he came to the Adamant Citadel save Jace and Clary
When he saved Magnus’ life again with this excellent shot
When he saved Simon and attacked like a machine
When he said “Die, then liar,” and kickstarted the Dark Alec tag.
When he saved Jace’s life in Edom.
When he saved Clary’s life in Edom.
When he saved Jia from the Endarkened
When Sebastian hurt Magnus and Alec said/did this in response
When Sebastian tried to hurt his friends and Alec literally shot him in the chest
When he reminded what it really means to be a shadowhunter
When he knew how to fight but still have sympathy
When he fought so well that he got his own tapestry
When he was a leader in the battlefield
When he fought so well that it made Jace emo and proud
When he saved Helen and Leon in Paris
When he saved Magnus during the infamous Orient Express scene
When he straight up punched a demon in the face
When saved a mansion full of downworlers - even those who had disrespected him
When he learned to keep up
When he saved Magnus from the Pentagram and said “fuck you” to Asmodeus
