Second, I have still neglected to organize the Portal prelims. Whoops. I'll probably figure that out today and post that tomorrow evening (5/1). Relatedly, I also realized I missed one more non-Portal prelim poll, so that'll go up at the same time (it's for Percy Jackson).

I think you should post the blurbs (or a blurb per character) from the submission forms with the characters during the polls! I think that would be fun
not all of them had blurbs unfortunately, but the ones that did were very good. is that unfair? I do like the idea though, I'll definitely consider!

Since I'd like just one character from each media, we're starting off with these four preliminary polls to determine who should be in, or if they should compete as a team! These polls are just going to run for 24 hours, then soon after I'll get the second part going for our Portal champion. For now:

Aperture is Portal, yeah. It's a series chock-full of one-eyed robots (GLaDOS, Atlas and P-body, all of the Cores). My best advice would be running a preliminary Portal bracket to narrow it down to one representative for the series or something like that.
(another anon): Why don’t you hold some preliminary matches? I’ve seen some other brackets hold matches between characters from the same media going up against each other to narrow down who should/shouldn’t make it onto the official bracket.
