The amount of Donquixote Rocinante lives and joins the heart pirates stories boggles my mind. Why does everyone infantilize Law? Look at the poor baby meow meow. Can't be a big bad pirate without his daddy to hold his hand. UwU
Like can you imagine any of the straw hat pirates bringing their parents on the crew? Like if Bell-mère survived and Nami brought her along? The Baratie replaces the Going Merry because Sanji just can't bear to leave Zeff? The thought is insane! Like damn, let Law grow up and be an adult.
It's also weird that they strip Rocinante of any agency. He just gets to be Law's cheerleader dad who follows his adult son around like a dog and that's pretty much it. Because, you know, Law is famous for making good decisions and Rocinante has such a history of doing exactly what Law wants him to.
Is this some weird fantasy people have of growing up and living with loving parents who take care of them forever because their real life sucks or something?
The like heart just turned into a pumpkin on a Halloween post. Best easter egg ever
Edit: Just tested it and the post needs a halloween tag for it to work
Everyone reblog this with the hashtag halloween to pass on the fun!

there is a page missing but i didn't want to finish it
He's been hauled around by so many people and animals at this point in his life that he's starting to rate them by size and comfort level.
He's literally bent over backwards on a horse ridden by three other men here. He's having this thought in the privacy of his own mind while frowning at the sky, still shot full of lead bullets btw. Peak Law moment.
Episode 690 at 20:54 (the voice acting for this line is amazing)
Everyone: we gotta stop Doflamingo or else we're all gonna fucking die
Law, mentally:
Absolutely genius addition @hyperfixatetime! I added two more.
happy second yall
It is becoming increasingly clear that Law is GREAT at deception.
I made a Zoro practice <3 (Drew 1 zoro every day) ✨🛐❤
some more misc. one piece drawings! that or a very non-linear story of how law unwittingly signed himself up for pain
Miss negativity 👻💗
I know I’ve said it before but I will never get over the mom-ification of Robin in One Piece by the fandom because she is NOT the mom friend!!! She’s just the oldest woman in the crew she does not take responsibility over anyone she does not pack lunches she does not keep people from doing stupid stuff she encourages the stupid stuff! She is doing the stupid stuff! If anyone is the mom friend it’s SANJI that man might as well be buttoning the crews coats before they leave.
happy october! here’s some seasonally appropriate goth family
cool down doodle ✨️ i watched gifted (2017) and thought this pose would be funny for hawk & perona and then i threw zoro in bc ofc i did lol.
Let it be known that I love Zeff, genuinely, so much. He's a great character. He's brave, he's wise, he's idealistic, he's generous, and he loves Sanji so much, which is what Sanji really needed more than anything else. Zeff is GREAT and I love their relationship.
But like
He's nooooooot a perfect parent. He's really not. Sanji got his particular brand of chauvinistic toxic masculinity from somewhere and it's not just from Judge.
Zeff is sexist. We know this about him. He's also physically violent with the people around him, even the ones he cares about (especially the ones he cares about) because he doesn't know how to be soft with people and emotional intimacy terrifies him (because Masculinity). Zeff prides himself on fulfilling his own definition of what makes a Man and that definition has very little room for frou frou shit like hugs and expressing your feelings.
Zeff is the kind of guy who will not hire women in his kitchen because he refuses to kick them in the head which is the only way he knows how to interact with his crew. He then proceeds to kick a child in the head for daring to suggest he might just, like, not treat women differently to men.
Like if we're all being really honest with ourselves canon Zeff is the aging relative who we do love but don't talk about our queer friends around. Not because they'd be actively hateful, but because we don't want to spend the next hour and a half attempting to explain what being nonbinary is to them only to have them throw their hands up and say they're too old for all this weird newfangled kid stuff.
Like.... If Sanji returned home some flavor of trans and/or with a man on his arm..... it would take Zeff a minute. (And it would not be a graceful minute)
And I'm not saying this because I necessarily dislike all the fan versions of Zeff who are openly affectionate with Sanji and accepting of any flavor of gender and sexuality shenanigans he's getting himself into. I think those are great and like, I'm the last person in the world who's gonna get up in arms about canon characterizations. Sincerely, do what makes you happiest.
But sometimes... I wish in works that are actually attempting to tackle Sanji's flawed relationship to manhood and gender, the hand that Zeff played in all that was acknowledged more often, rather than pinning it all on Judge. Because that's interesting, there's meat there. Like how are you even supposed to feel when the person who had such a massively positive impact on your life to the point that they basically saved it, also severely damaged your ability to understand and interact with yourself and others? How do you process that?
I love Zeff. I LOVE Zeff. I think he's a fascinatingly complicated character and his relationship with Sanji gets me right in the heart. Sanji is, in every way that matters, Zeff's son, and it's beautiful. It's just... a little ugly too. That's not a bad thing.
Tell me what actually happened in that one scene on the way to Ennies Lobby? the headcanon of Zoro being good at math has strongly affected me
