the backwards 11 in the title of the last hidden video and the unused characters from the books in the .zip worlds has me convinced there's one more hidden video to close the show on whitepine before we unlock the emberton wire drop. Chapter 11, Side A as it were. not a discord invite, not a planetminecraft link, not a youtube url— not in its present form, anyways. we're still missing something. something that's been there since the very start. since before the beginning.

celestia is such a funny character like she's constantly manipulating twilight and friends to do shit instead of just asking and you could arguably frame that as being bc she's a "god" and pushing fate to her design or whatever, except that she engages with the group like a normal and relatable person, which makes it more like villainous machinations, except 90% of this manipulation goes towards things like "I don't want my party to be boring shit again. put my little country girl blorbos in there with zero prep so they fuck it up bad"

Celestia instantly makes more sense as a character when you ignore the princess stuff and remember that she's a 1000+ years old wizard. Of course she does manipulative trickster stuff to teach moral lessons and/or cause chaos to amuse herself, that's classic wizard behavior. Of course sometimes she's actually socially awkward and bad at personal relationships and has bad ideas that she thought were good that result in her eating shit embarrassing style, that's classic wizard behavior. Of course she lets the aristocrats and nobles run around being assholes she's still running on wizard advisor programming, she's basically trying to merlin the entire upper class of equestria instead of just a king and some knights. "Yeah uuhhh we'll release the incarnation of chaos himself from his ancient prison because we think this shy girl can be friends with him", terrible plan if you're thinking like a ruler, amazing plan if you're thinking like a wizard. Just look at Canterlot 'Castle' for five seconds and ask yourself if that's in any way a castle. No. Wizard tower, yes. Wizard.

Hi, these bees are babies! They’re not clumsy at all, this is what is called orientation flights. After birth and before beginning their careers as foragers (as all Honey bees cycle through all the jobs in the Hive throughout their lifespan), Honey bees take short flights back and forth, to and from the Hive, to orient themselves with their wings and their home so they can learn its location and how to get back home after foraging! Everyone has to learn, these are just smol little baby turkeys. Bees use the angle of the sun for location so adults have a better and more direct sense of location than any human

I just want you to know that I am totally fine with this. I love when heroes don’t have spirit. I would never want or expect you to keep fighting. This is great for me because I don’t have to monologue. You can just lie there hopelessly and I’ll read a book or something. The operating costs of death traps and torture contraptions are astronomical, you know? You’re really doing me a favor. I spent 30 million on a state-of-the-art gloating chamber mainly so I could use it to store furniture and aquarium supplies. It’s really fun for me that you’ve decided to just lie down and die. If I get bored I can see how many small objects I can stack on your supine body before they fall over. Thats what I was truly looking forward to for our final confrontation. Thats right, I said to myself, golly! I just can’t wait to finally defeat and capture my sworn nemesis so that they can be catatonic during our climactic meeting! this is fun, this is so fun. I am having fun. this is what they call parallel play. and I am totally digging it.

Ive never liked horror movies because of the excessive use of the same tropes over and over, and the main characters getting into bad situations because they are stupid with no survival instinct.

What made obsession and backrooms my favorite horror movies immediately, is that the main characters don't suffer because they are stupid. They suffer because they are bad and selfish people. Also really love the idea that the horror is a punishment to the main character for their arrogance.
