that one time peter had an entire conversation with derek’s eyebrows
Happy pride month to my dad. When I came out as bi to him, this man googled what it ment, look at me and said "ohh. Yeah. You get that from me. You'd have far more siblings of I only shaged women." And went right back to his work emails.
this post will find you when it needs to find you.
just some facts: you are loved. you are not alone. you are valuable. you are worthy of good things. you are deserving of self love and forgiveness. i’m glad you’re still here.
Lydia, you’re stronger than this.
the matrix: revisited (2001)
The masculine side of Morpheus is really evident in the Matrix and his feminine side is evident in the Neb.

Still cracks me up that she actually bought the dress he picked
I don't think I'll ever get over how much Eli (Vince Mattis) looks not only like Sterek's love child, but also looks like Peter (Ian Bohen, when he was younger)
Like Eli getting sent back in time to when the Hale's were alive, Talia would do a double take cause she thought he was Peter at first glance
When Season 1 Peter Hale told Stiles that he was not the bad guy, he was right. I don't know what the fuck they were doing with Peter Hale for the rest of the show, but he was objectively not the bad guy in Season 1.
Like yes he killed Laura and turned a teenage Scott, but he was in a dissociative fugue psychosis brought on during a multi-year catatonic episode after being burned alive in an intentionally set house fire that killed 8 members of his family. He was not in his right mind, but he was smart with loose morals and he was going to avenge his family. I think the show wanted us to think that Peter genuinely felt bad about killing Laura. Not that he regretted it per se, but that he regretted that it was necessary.
When he was in his right mind he targeted the people who killed his family. I'm not saying that he was a boy scout. He was definitely willing to do whatever it took, but he was objectively more right than Kate and the Hunters.
No matter what they attempted to retcon him into, in Season 1 he was just a man trying to avenge his murdered family. Do you want me to be upset he killed Kate? Cause I am abso-fucking-lutely not. and I like Allison, but up until that point she was firmly on Team Kate so of course Peter was going after her.
So, this is all to say that I am so confused with what they did with him in later seasons. I liked him enough, but in Season 1 he wasn't evil, he was just a pragmatist and he was right. And he was proven to be more right each following season as the werewolf cops progressively got worse and worse. There were only one and a half Hunters that weren't completely evil, cause Alison could not make-up her mind.
everything about 6x05 and the aftermath is always still just so wild to me. like, the show establishes that a large part of peter's motivation to get out of the train station is malia. yet despite that, peter still has reservations and he's still doubting himself and questioning what he's doing.
and it isn't until peter sees stiles' keys that his resolve hardens.
and then keeping stiles' keys safe is so important to him. like, they're clutched in his hand! he's desperately trying to convey to malia and scott that they're there!
and that the show could've just left things with them like that but it didn't and continued to bring it up? like, peter is so afraid of the prospect of stiles dying that he can't even entertain the possibility of him being saved because there's no guaranteed way of doing so without risking his life and he just can't see that happen; he can't see stiles burn to death.
(and i can't believe i'm only just realizing this now, but of course that'd be the most traumatizing way possible for peter to lose stiles, too, given the fire and losing nearly all his family and pack that way, which really just adds another layer as to why peter's reaction is the way that it is.)
and then malia calls him out on his bullshit, too! and how his negativity about the idea of rescuing stiles can't be true because peter himself nearly died to try and save stiles.
Vampire Peter: Hello, darling
Stiles, internally: oh shit, oh crap, oh fuck
Stiles, internally: wait if he was a werewolf, and now he is a vampire, does that make him a hybrid
Stiles, internally: is he Klaus Mikaelson
Stiles, internally: ...am I Caroline Forbes? The hot badass only child of the single parent sheriff who somehow can't shake this impossible murder asshole
Stiles, internally: the implications
Peter, slowly getting worried because Stiles has never been quiet for this long before: ...??
"Let villains be evil! Why do you like villain redemption?"
I don't know, maybe because I want to believe in people's humanity and after all the times real people dissapointed me, I want to believe that at least fictional villains/antagonists are capable of good deep down.
Back in his room, Stiles had a board with my name on one of the pieces. If this is a game to him, then I need to figure out the plays. Not so easy to do when it's a game without rules. What does that mean?
