I have to admit that, in a way, I find Ian's facial expressions even more amusing than Barley's, given how utterly confused/alarmed/flat-out done he looks half the time. XD

This is such an amazing detail. As they are both drowning Barley grabs Ian and pulls him out of the water the first chance he gets. He gets his brother up so he can breathe before himself. He didn't have to do that but he did because he wanted his brother to be safe first. And if that doesn't make Barley just the greatest then I don't know what does.
