Unlike a lot of other skills / talents, there aren’t objective goals for what is ‘good’ worldbuilding, and so it’s hard to tell if you are ‘improving’ at it.
If you improve at drawing you can look at your drawings and go ‘I got better at this’. If you improve at running you can look at your speed or how far you can go. Same for swimming, weightlifting, speaking, etc.
Building a world doesn’t intrinsically have things like these. Instead of trying to get a certain level of detail, or know specific values, just come up with ideas of things that you think are conceptually cool, and figure out how you would like to implement them.
If you get to the point where you have developed bits and pieces of a world that are interesting and make se we to you, then you have succeeded. All you need to do from there is figure out how you want to portray those ideas.
