Hey @ fic writers, or writers in general, and anyone else whose first language is not English! If you ever need help with something regarding the English language- grammar/spelling/phrase/sentence structure/wtf is that word etc, feel free to dm me or send me an ask. I may not see it right away but I will absolutely help in whatever way I can. Been seeing a lot of posts on here lately about fic writers in particular being insecure about their writing or saying they quit because of criticism or other stuff like that and it makes me sad. It also makes me really wanna help. Writing is great and no one should have to give it up because some asshole on the internet made them feel inadequate over not being fluent.

For reference, English is my first language (one of them) and I'm currently about to finish my master's in english literature so I am, in fact, qualified to help. And because I've been living with a bunch of people whose first language is not english I've gotten used to it as well. So trust me no matter how weird or stupid the question is, I will not judge.

What’s so horrifying about this to me is that this is literally Jerry Seinfeld trying to teach John Mulaney how to gaslight his wife.

Look at that dialogue. “She thinks she knows.” He’s trying to get Mulaney to see his wife’s expertise as instead a weird misperception. He’s coaching him to undercut his wife’s confidence in the truth and her own abilities.

And Mulaney replies exactly the right way: “She does know.” He asserts not only that she’s perceiving the world accurately, but that she is an expert at something he’s not good at.

Dudes, don’t take this shit from other dudes. Mulaney isn’t by any means perfect but he aced this. Stand for the truth. Defend women’s objectivity. Promote women’s expertise.

Hey guys!  So…  I’m a massive fool.  

I am… officially in the rough animation stage of W2H2, and I started posting animation gifs on my Patreon BACK IN JUNE.  

Here’s the way it’s been working out so far:

$1 tier - Access to storyboards, model sheets, animation notes, and other non-moving images.  I also post whatever’s in my sketchbook from the past month!

$5 tier - Access to Monthly animation updates, PLUS everything from the previous tier.

These tiers might have to change a little bit as production continues and grows…but generally the higher tiers will receive more substantial updates on the actual animation.  And I want to make sure I’m providing worthwhile content even at $1 and $5.  I’d also like to start doing patreon-exclusive streams, and a little more fan-interaction stuff!

I haven’t been using tumblr lately so it hadn’t even occurred to me to post about it here… but anyway, that’s where I’m at!  Hope you’ll check it out, and either way, thanks for your patience and support!
