I've been doing my own spn rewatch and I have identified the one (1) singular flaw Dean has: he doesn't say "I told you so" NEAR enough!!! This man is out here spotting bad ideas from five miles away and warning everyone and being ignored. And then things go wrong just like he said they would and he's too busy fixing it to get his gloat in! Dean should wake up every morning and say "I told you so" to Sam on sheer principle at this point.
