Newt downloaded a gacha game for an anime he liked once and got so viscerally upset when he didn't pull his favorite character even once that he quit gacha games forever. He understands.

I'm really excited about my comic having its first fan character/self insert/whatever, haha. My dearest dream is that people will enjoy the characters and ships in my comic however makes them happiest!

i think i'm a comedy genius. marzi is a very awkward rabbit while newt is an incredibly nervous greyhound, i don't know how to feel about this being my first actual art of elysium heart marzi but i can't stop laughing at it, so that has to count for something.
this is Marzipan, she is my semi-self insert that's been with me through 26 fandoms and counting, now 27. this is her Elysium Heart version, because i don't know how to enjoy something on a casual level and know nothing of self-restraint.
i love her so much. I don't know what i'll do with her but she exists in physical form and I am now unstoppable. i don't know what to do except hold her gently in my hands or place her in a tupperware and shake her vigorously. she's just. just so. augh.
