And because SY is an unreliable narrator, this Huan Hua au but SJ's POV.
"I'm sorry, the Grandmaster is away on another business. As per regulations, this matter does not need his attention, so head over to Head Curator Wang in the artifacts treasury to register your request."
SJ smiled a warm, gentle smile as he sent the sect member on his way until the man was out of sight, then immediately scowled.
Another pest trying to pester the Grandmaster! Even though Shizun clearly did "delegation" in order to reduce the amount of work the sect's leader had to do, as well as streamlining sect matters and instilling responsibility in all sect members.
Despite the fact that Grandmaster wanted to take things easy and be left alone, there are always going to be people trying meet with Shizun... and it's not like SJ didn't know why.
Heading into the back courtyard, SJ found Shizun tending the garden as usual. He wasn't sure what Shizun enjoyed about gardening all the time but ... side-eyeing the extremely rare plants Shizun had somehow managed to cultivate despite their historic impossible-to-cultivate reputation, he could only sigh.
As long as Shizun was having fun...
Rounding the all-seeing creeper vines and frost honey sky lotus, SJ finally caught sight of his Shizun, the Sect Master Grandmaster of Huan Hua Palace. (Shizun kept wanting to step back from the position and joked he was more like the sect's grandfather, not the sect leader, but please. With Shizun's leadership, who would accept his retirement any time soon? They just started calling him Grandmaster instead. Anyway, it was better than the "Palace Master" Shizun's failure of a disciple wanted to be called.)
Despite his age, Shen Shizun was still tall and graceful. He might have a mature face, but it was still smooth and elastic unlike many ancestor cultivators decades younger than him.
The beard was trimmed short, unlike the long beards like all the other cultivators his age, and it was neat and tidy, unlike all the greasy and unkempt rogues and bastards SJ had seen in his time on the streets.
That beard and the long white hair half pulled back in a topknot combined with Shizun's broad shoulders and narrow waist had seduced far too many people. SJ couldn't help glaring at his shizun.
Did he know how many people he had to chase away daily?! No! Of course his shizun didn't, he NEVER notices their advances!
Even though the man was the smartest, craftiest person alive, Grandmaster Shen couldn't tell someone was interested in him even if they bluntly told him! And many people had!
Either Shizun wanted to be an ascetic, or no one had caught his eye. Didn't matter - SJ would chase them off until his shizun indicated differently.
After everything he'd done for Huan pHua, Shizun deserved to not be bothered by unwanted advances!
Shizun revealed all the conspiracies, punished all evil-minded sect members, and redid the entire sect's authority system to prevent the terrible things from happening again.
Normally SJ would scoff at the naivety of believing one could set up a sect to avoid corruption, but seeing how Shizun did it by utilizing people's natural suspicion and eagerness to point fingers while mitigating the overeager by clearly defining the rules and punishments for false accusations ... SJ knew Shen Shizun wasn't someone who didn't understand reality and the darkness within people.
After all, Shizun never pretended that material wealth wasn't important like some other sects that liked to act like they were above material needs.
When SJ asked his shizun about it, Shen Shizun just chuckled.
"Whether it's money, resources, or power, they are all things that can be used. Some sects like to scoff at us and call us moneygrubbers, but how many times do they come asking to borrow money when they come against a problem they can't just fight? And in the first place, can we truly be a righteous sect if every solution is to subdue the opponent? Would we not just be tyrants?"
"Isn't that what it means to be the strongest?"
Shizun chuckled again. "Is "the strongest" truly the best thing? Let me tell you, Xiao Jiu, the only constant in life is human dissatisfaction, and all jealous eyes will target anyone who act oppressively. It's far better to pretend to be mediocre and let everyone think you're doing them favors. Besides, they're so righteous, they wouldn't let you do them favors without having to pay you back."
That sly smile and glint in his shizun's eyes... Although Grandmaster Shen was widely known as a wise and benevolent leader, SJ was fully aware that his shizun secretly devious and crafty. And SJ fully approved of it.
It was strange. Supposedly the Grandmaster had been cowardly and overly suspicious for many years before that sad excuse of a failure took over, but his personality now was nothing at all like the Sect Master in the memories of the elders.
The most common theory was that Grandmaster had been pretending to be useless in order to catch his head disciple and make an example of him... but that didn't feel right to SJ.
With everything he knew about the Grandmaster, SJ knew that Shen Shizun was good at reading people (except in romance) and swift and decisive in nipping trouble in the bud.
Not only would Shizun have put a swift end to the man's ambitions, he wouldn't have accepted that failure as head disciple in the first place!
In SJ's opinion, that poisoning did something to Shen Shizun. Either Shen Shizun had been slowly poisoned the entire time, leading to his strange personality, or that was truly Shen Shizun's previous personality. Either way, the final poisoning most likely caused Shen Shizun to undergo a breakthrough in both mentality and cultivation.
How else can you explain the massive power increase and completely different temperament otherwise?
Either way, SY appreciated the change, even if he hated how it happened.
It's just, with all Shizun's breakthroughs (at his age!), his appearance grew sturdier and more vibrant while his firm and dependable temperament deepened and became even more attractive, drawing all sorts of bees and butterflies wanting to be the old man's cultivation partner!
Unaware of SJ's thoughts, SY just cheerfully waved and said, "Xiao Jiu. Is there something the matter?"
Facing Shen Shizun's warm smile, SJ deflated.
Forget it... as long as Shizun's happy.
"Hm? Is that Shen Jiu? Let this old man see how you're doing~"
... This was another thing SJ didn't understand. Shizun's weird friend, who came to talk about vulgar books and bicker about pointless things and took him out on stupid "adventures" that always went strange, so different from how Shizun normally was... but maybe that's the point.
Maybe Shizun never wanted to be so serious and have to overhaul the sect. Maybe he just wanted the freedom to tend his garden, chat over tea with some foolish friends, and travel around without any responsibilities.
SJ resolved to hurry in his studies and growth in order to take over Huan Hua soon, in order to let his shizun retire sooner.
Was watching Solo Leveling and was inspired with an SV AU plot bunny, where Shen Yuan transmigrates into one of the big bosses Luo Binghe encounters in the Abyss.
So like he's this humanoid armored warrior guy (weirdly snatched waist and cool features for an animated suit of armor etc etc), and he spawns in this abandoned ruin/castle where, if he follows the script, he's bound to just wait around this empty throne with a whole bunch of other haunted armors and cloaks and shit until Luo Binghe shows up to rip them apart with his bare hands and claim the power upgrade under the throne. Including metaphorically poignant scene of Binghe "resting" on the throne all blood soaked and so forth, Shen Yuan's wrecked body slumped artfully nearby.
Obviously, this is not ideal. Shen Yuan doesn't particularly want to be peeled like a tin can. But good news, the whole reason that the system has stuck him here is because it ran some numbers, and it turns out that as he currently is, Binghe has like a zero percent chance of actually surviving to reach Xin Mo. Logistical errors with making Airplane's slapdash world-building actually work have run cropped up, and they're so severe that unless he has someone helping him, odds are like 98% that Binghe's gonna die before he ever reaches the sword.
So Shen Yuan's role has been tweaked somewhat, and instead of just being a throwaway boss, he's got to help Luo Binghe unlock the new Heavenly Demon "summoning" ability and also become the like, primary target-slash-commander for the subsequent summoned minions. If he does it right, he will survive the encounter with Luo Binghe -- technically, the armor he's animating will still get ripped to shreds, but, when Luo Binghe uses his powers to experiment and re-summons him, Shen Yuan will come back. And the difference between animating a lifeless suit of armor and animating a badly dented suit of armor is... pretty negligible. There might also be a skeleton or mummy inside the suit of armor, but Shen Yuan's been too squeamish to take off his helmet and check.
Anyway, Luo Binghe arrives, the fight meets the system's requirements, and Shen Yuan gets rebooted into what is essentially Luo Binghe's first ever magically summoned minion. Like an edgy pokemon spliced with Wen Ning from MDZS. With this respawn he gains in-depth access to all of the system's menus and files on Luo Binghe and his stats and abilities, as well as the potential to command other minions that Binghe creates as long as A) Binghe promotes him to commander, B) he doesn't use them against Binghe himself, and C) those minions are a weaker level than Shen Yuan.
Shen Yuan figures that at some point, Binghe will inevitably create a stronger commander, as that's how these things tend to go, but as he's not sure what would happen to him in that case, he plans to postpone it for as long as possible by making himself as useful as he can. Only, Luo Binghe is now firmly in his era of experiencing deep suspicion towards everyone and everything, so he doesn't promote Shen Yuan right away. This leaves Shen Yuan with only partial access to his abilities, and Binghe himself struggling to master his new abilities and also command his new minions, whenever he summons them, himself. A division of his attention that frequently causes a lot of his fights to go south, and Shen Yuan is wincing as Binghe keeps suffering very violent injuries and barely pulling out by the skin of his teeth, trapped by the fact that his actions are severely limited unless Binghe explicitly orders him to do something.
Much as Shen Yuan would love to try and persuade Luo Binghe that the only thing he'd do with more autonomy would be to use it to get them both out of the Abyss faster, he can't talk. So it's a very frustrating situation for a while. He thinks he could probably write something, like there's no paper and ink but he could perhaps claw a passable symbol onto a nearby wall or something, but everything he wants to convey seems to complicated for that style of communication anyway. So he's stuck.
At least until Binghe finally gets into a fight that nearly kills him -- one of those encounters that the system had very grim projections about -- and Shen Yuan bends the rules on his constrained conduct to swoop in and rescue Binghe just in the nick of time. Despite this being necessary to prevent Binghe's death, the system blares at him for violating his story-based limitations, and Shen Yuan endures a "punishment protocol" which almost annihilates him, until Meng Mo interferes to keep his spirit from dissipating at the last minute (Meng Mo has figured out that he has his own consciousness, thinks he's like the ghost of some ancient demon warrior or other, and is aware that they're probably toast without his continued assistance).
Luo Binghe is then able to re-summon/respawn a form for him, and Shen Yuan wipes the metaphorical sweat off of his brow and decides to repress that whole incident as much as possible going forward.
Except, afterwards, he gets several updates from the system. Binghe promoted him! And Shen Yuan finds that he can fight under his own autonomy now, no longer as tightly restricted as before. Luo Binghe also begins summoning him a lot more, and keeping him around for longer. He starts talking to Shen Yuan as well, even though the conversation is distinctly one-sided. It's still a hell of a slog through the Abyss, but it's a major improvement on before. Shen Yuan tentatively takes it that he's earned a bit of trust, and vows not to violate it.
Battles begin to go much more smoothly with Shen Yuan commanding Luo Binghe's minions, freeing Binghe up to fight, and also less conspicuously managing and tweaking things in Binghe's favor via the system's windows. He can earn points to spend to help Binghe or himself unlock new abilities, upgrade the other summoned creatures, even buy small quests for Binghe and himself to go on in order to locate special items as rewards. One of the most expensive features SY is able to purchase is a map, which he can then use to begin directing Luo Binghe towards Xin Mo. The first time Binghe asks if he has any thoughts on where they should go next, Shen Yuan only has to point his sword determinedly in the right direction. After that, Binghe checks in with him pretty regularly, though even Binghe himself seems a bit bemused and wonders at times where Shen Yuan is really leading him.
Eventually they actually do reach Xin Mo, surviving the trials along the way, and Luo Binghe uses it to open a portal to the demon realms. The sword does horrific things to Binghe's status windows according to the system, however, and even the subsequent hookups Binghe has with some random demon ladies they happen upon afterwards (stupid stallion novel logic) doesn't do as much to mitigate the effects as Shen Yuan expected. He's especially concerned with the way the sword is eating at the "sanity" and "wisdom" points. He spends a lot to bulk those stats up to try and compensate.
Thankfully, though, Luo Binghe doesn't use Xin Mo as much as he seemed to in PIDW. Instead he tends to keep the sword sheathed unless they're facing down a truly intimidating foe, instead relying more on his summoning ability and Shen Yuan to clear out annoying opponents (and small armies). Shen Yuan even ends up being the one to duel Mobei Jun, while Luo Binghe just sort of stands back and wordlessly makes a point about how he's so strong, he doesn't even need to dirty his hands. Shen Yuan thinks Binghe is definitely making the right choice, although he misses the chance to watch him fight sometimes. He also wonders if Binghe might be waiting to see if Shen Yuan will falter in his loyalty, because damn if he doesn't watch all of Shen Yuan's fights really closely.
Once they've beaten Mobei Jun, though, they finally gain steady access to a home base and things like stationary supplies. So the next time Luo Binghe asks Shen Yuan a rhetorical question, Shen Yuan swipes a brush and paper off of the desk of that weaselly traitor Shang Qinghua and writes a response.
Okay even better, Huan Hua doses Shen Yuan with a truth potion for the trial but the truth potion forces the victim to tell the actual objective truths of the universe, no matter what the personally believe to be true. They ask him who perpetrated Shen Qingqiu’s various crimes, and every time Shen Yuan just points to Shang Qinghua as the perpetrator.
Silly Thought: Shen Yuan transmigrating as Mobei-jun’s Mom.
The idea of Luo Binghe personally murdering Mobei-jun’s dad, just for the sake of marrying his mother— and in doing so becoming Mobei-jun’s stepdad— is super funny to me. Let Shen Yuan play up his MILF vibes to maximum effect!
Also, imagine Shen Yuan using his position as Mobei-jun’s beloved mother to harass the heck out of Airplane. As a demon mother and queen, it’s only natural for him to make his son’s prospective spouse undergo dramatic loyalty trials, right? Shen Yuan has so many ideas, most of which related to the various trials Airplane made Bing-ge go through in PIDW. (He’s unexpectedly accepting of the gay thing because, well, all the women are for Binghe, right?)
Peerless Cucumber, the MIL from hell. 🔥🥒🔥
—
Since the Mobei-clan is made up of ice demons, I tend to imagine Mobei-jun got his shadow portal ability from his mother’s side. This would likely make Shen Yuan some form of shadow demon, with his own teleportation abilities.
He probably transmigrated in when the original goods was meant to die, while Mobei-jun was only a few years old. While he can’t prevent the whole Huan Hua kidnapping arc (the System insists) Shen Yuan ends up quite the helicopter mom afterwards. He shadows his son everywhere— often in a human male disguise— and only reveals ‘himself’ in his full ‘MILF demon queen’ glory after Mobei-jun has finished off all his enemies, to praise and dote on him.
Of course, being Shen Yuan, he also takes advantage of his teleportation abilities to sneak away and offer stealthy bits of assistance to Binghe as well. This definately leads the future demon lords to some nasty bouts of feuding even before the Abyss tossing incident. (Mobei-jun trying to make Binghe’s night hunts harder so he’ll stay away from his mother).
The motivation for Mobei-jun removing Luo Binghe’s seal during the Immortal Alliance Conference in this case is probably a bit more malicious… though when the man successfully survives both his peak lord master’s attempt to kill him and the abyss, Binghe earns Mobei-jun’s begrudging respect.
To Shen Yuan’s horror, Mobei-jun later replicates Shen Yuan’s worthiness trials for Airplane x100 before he’ll consider Binghe an acceptable stepfather. Shen Yuan has no idea how his idiot son got away with commanding the demon emperor to do all those insane tasks without getting them all killed!!!
Afterwards, he probably thinks Binghe is just marrying him as some form of power play, not realizing it was literally the entire point of the boys’ absurd escapades. The fact Luo Binghe isn’t taking any other wives, and didn’t just make him empress for political expedience, takes a lot longer to register.
So this guy, where SQQ had a secret son SY he left at an orphanage but still paid for until his trip to the water prison.
Here's what happens next. LBH goes back to the water prison to taunt SQQ- who is indifferent until the very moment LBH makes it clear that he's actually spoken to Shen Yuan, his son, and then SQQ tackles LBH and attempts to strangle him with the immortal binding cables around his own wrists.
LBH is delighted by this reaction and decides he has to go back and get SY... But when he gets back to the orphanage SY is gone.
SY (not a transmigrator) isn't stupid. His one known family member stops paying for his stay at the orphanage and then someone turns up asking about those payments and wondering if SY knows who his father is? Something is up and SY is going to Huan Hua Palace to find out what!
Except he gets a little turned around and winds up at Cang Qiong Mountain Sect instead where Yue Qingyuan immediately takes him in for his own good.
Like a week later,
SY: I think... I'm being held here against my will?
WQW: Oh you absolutely are.
MQF: *nods* more tea?
SY would really like to meet and talk with his dad so CQMS reopens negotiations with HHP about it.
LBH is pissed! He wanted to play with the Shens' emotions!! And also maybe hold SY's hand!!
An agreement is eventually reached. SY can go see SQQ. There's a few caveats though, the two of them will be secretly observed by representatives from other seats and HHP and CQMS. Anything SQQ says can be used as evidence against him... And SY isn't to know about this plan.
HHP even insists on having SY wear a truth compelling item called the Hairpin of Honesty- which makes anyone within ten feet of the person wearing it want to tell them the truth.
So YQY sticks it in SY's hair and sends him off to see his dad in jail and just manages to hold his tongue until SY is more than ten feet away.
The people involved in the trial gather around a mirror that lets them eavesdrop on the Shens.
SQQ is horrified SY is there, and knowing he's there with CQMS isn't making him feel better. He's very adamant that SY should just leave and never think about him again... But SY wants an explanation- for everything, and SQQ agrees to tell him.
SQQ spills his guts, all of them, everything. He starts with being a child slave living on the streets and just word vomits everything, all the abuse, everything he did and didn't do, why he did or didn't do it. SY gets it all, his messy situationship with Yue Qingyuan, his intense self hatred, how he's scared of essentially all men ever, what exactly happened with Liu Qingge, that he had no good reason for being so cruel to LBH but that he doesn't regret it because the boy is literally a demon-
Every single eavesdropping cultivator turns to look at Luo Binghe.
So LBH has to hastily abandoned his infiltrate the sects plan and retreat to the demon realm to regroup and by the time the cultivators handle that the Shens are just crying and cuddling so they stop eavesdropping.
SQQ is let loose with no charges because HHP is embarrassed by the demon infiltration, SY stays with him and then I don't know what will happen, but LBH definitely isn't done with either of them.
sy: i'm literally like the Plainest and most Boring person to ever exist. sqq, whose cold beauty is truly unparalleled, probably would rather jump off a cliff than be seen with me.
sqq: i don't know who sy thinks he is, trying to bank on his pretty face whilst acting all small and humble. little does he know, i see through all of his schemes. his flattery means nothing to me.
Okay okay what about Shen Yuan transmigrating into a demon, and living long enough pre plot to come to the conclusion that he is gay (I’m thinking 2 centuries). He’s generally a pretty peaceful plant demon who frequently trades his panacea herbs with humans for various human goods. This naturally leads him to cultivating (ha) a good relationship with Mu Qingfang, even if they have to keep it on the down low in the Jianhu. One day Liu Qingge sees evidence of a demon “stalking” Mu Qingfang, so he hunts the demon down to kick his ass and keep the sect’s healers safe. Shen Yuan beats him handily (he’s had 2 centuries to collect power ups and mcguffins) and drags this puny pretty boy back to Mu Qingfang. Mu Qingfang is unbelievably pissed that Liu Qingge would attack one of the only reliable trade routes the sect has with the demon realm, potentially endangering his very lucrative friendship with a walking miracle cure. Reading Liu Qingge for absolute filth to such a degree that even Shen Yuan is impressed. Liu Qingge’s punishment? He has to go work with Shen Yuan for however long it takes to repair the damage to his stronghold.
Things progress as things usually progress. When Shen Yuan realizes he has a thing for this human, he tries to start courting him. When Liu Qingge realizes he has a thing for this demon, he reads up on demonic courtship rituals. Both of them believe their attempts are being shot down.
PIDW! Ning YingYing tearfully giving a recount of how Shen Qingqiu treated her and knowing how its going to be twisted. She had grown up sheltered and naive, and before the trial, she had almost believed what the people around her were whispering in her ear, maybe Shen Qingqiu really was secretly the monster that everyone else believed him to be. Shizun looked, composed, for someone who had been locked in the Water Prision for months, dignified even. When she stepped up on the stand, for a singular moment, she gathered the courage to look her Shizun in the eyes. Inperceptable to no one else, he gave a small nod, acceptance on his face. Ning YingYing grew up in that singular moment. She had tried to ignore the writing on the wall for weeks now, but Cang Qiong Mountain Sect wouldn't survive Luo Binghe's wrath. That nod was permission, to do exactly what Shen Jiu would want her to do: save herself from the slaughter. And then Ning Ying Ying grows up some more, bitter and resentful of the constant harem politics, and her cute little shidi, who she can no longer see any resemblance to. She takes to wearing only Qing Jing green, and swipe fans that Luo Binghe had taken as trophies. Her sweetness is a weapon, but these fools forget who raised her. One day, after a particularly venomous court meeting, she snaps her fan open, and Luo Binghe flinches
I loooooove writing rotating perspectives where Shen Jiu is one of the cause it always goes like
Shen Yuan: Stupid hack author! This plot is bullshit!
Yue Qingyuan:euuughgh my back hurty :(…. I wish Xiao Jiu would kiss it better…. I’m a bad person…..
Shen Jiu: Rot. There is a fundamental rot within the marrow of all things. It is thrust upon us all by the violence of our birth. I have never known the woman who bore me, but the day of my birth must have been most viscous, as I am more rotten than most. Perhaps more parasite than man.
Liu Qingge: waow cool monster, I shall slay it for my honey
I want more Shen Yuan + Liu siblings interactions where it becomes increasingly more obvious that Shen Yuan thinks Liu Mingyan is cooler than her brother (she was his blorbo too!) and both the Liu siblings are utterly baffled by it. Liu Mingyan ends up using this adoration to push Shen Yuan in the direction of ships she approves (ie AWAY FROM HER BROTHER). Liu Qingge becomes extremely jealous of the attention Shen Yuan gives his baby sister, and begins the mortifying ordeal of showing off to his crush, often adjacent to his sister who knows what he’s doing and is actively trying to make him look like an idiot so he stays out of her yaoi.
The fact that the new extra made it so the Liu siblings meet up, sit in silence, and then leave while both presumably feeling that was a nice and wholesome bonding experience is still so funny to me
1. Because that makes so much sense for those two
2. Because that means PIDW Liu Mingyan is deeply upset at missing out at sitting in silence with her brother like once every couple of months
3. Shen Qingqiu finds this DISTRESSING and is trying to change it by suggesting reading materials! Which means Liu Qingge is definitely going to awkwardly bring up a book he read for this and for Liu Mingyan to be both confused and alarmed by that fact
Svsss non transmigration au where all of the PLs reside in different dungeon floors (think game-like stuff) and SY & XF work as little merchants that travel across the floors selling goods and stuff to both the life in the dungeon and the people outside trying to conquer it.
--
SQQ: You're here earlier than usual.
SY: Yeah but I bought you something I thought you'd like.
SQQ, raising a brow: Which is?
SY, rummaging through his bag and pulling out an intricate looking fan: Check this baby out
SQQ, who's yet to see a fan before: What is that?
SY: A fan! An object with class!
SQQ: I can't imagine why.
SY: Don't dismiss it so fast, give it a try.
SQQ, picking up the fan and flicking it open curiously: And do what with it?
SY: Well it's usually used to establish status and whatnot, but there's some practical use too! This one's been enchanted by XF so it should be able to keep up with you.
SQQ: XF..? So this is a bribe?
SY: He'd appreciate it if you didn't let your pets attack him.
SQQ, snorting: They're just playing with him
SY: Qingqiu letting giant spiritual cats chase him to the point of fearing his life is not playing
SQQ, narrowing his eyes and flicking the dan open in front of his face naturally: ...Pussy
SY: Excuse the fuck out of me?????
--
XF: Bro I met the hidden boss of SQH's floor and holy shit. It turns out that it was the guy from that one time, in the other dungeon!
SY: How did you manage to do THAT? Why would he bring out the hidden boss for no reason? Also I didn't know this was a connected dungeon.
XF: I'm pretty sure it's just SQH's floor that's connected. Anyways I walked in during a meeting or whatever when the guy was chewing him out and what else could I do but save my number one client?
SY: You, saving anyone??
XF: Excuse you, I can be heroic when I want to!
SY: Okay then, how'd you save the day mr knight in shining armor.
XF: I begged
SY: You what
XF: Acting pathetic takes you a long way actually.
SY: Do you actually have no shame?
XF: Shame isn't what brings in the money bro
SY: Genuinely who even are you.
--
SQQ, waving the fan that he now knows how to use in front of his face and narrowing his eyes: Liu Qingge get the hell off of my floor.
LQG, who broke through the ceiling of his floor to get into SQQ'S floor: Are you holding him hostage
SY, who is very much not being held hostage, noticing the gaping hole in the floo: Qingge why are you up here—what the fuck is going on with the floor.
SQQ: Hold on, you call that brute Qingge? Are you serious? You can do much better
LQG, offended: Excuse you? (Drawing his blade)
SY: ??? What??? The floor???
SQQ, activating the enchantments on his fan: Did your inability to use your brain spread to your ears???
SY: Guys wait what
--
Oum I need some ideas for what type of dungeon bosses each PL would be
SQQ is one of those bosses with a hidden phase. His is especially hard to transition to because unlike the green motifs spread throughout his dungeon, his boss form utilizes fire more than anything
SQH is still a dungeon boss it's just there's a chance after defeating SQH, MBJ will come and he's like 10x harder for people to fight.
