She needs to know he understands.  Before she can leave - before she can put into action the plan she has brewing in her head - she needs to know tat he understands.  That he understands what she’s doing isn’t to throw away the sacrifice he made for them - for her - but because she has had everything taken away from her - including him - and not doing anything is killing her inside.  She is a fighter.  She always has been.  And this is something that she has to fight for - her family is being threatened and torn apart and she can’t sit back and let that happen anymore.  She has to fight back.

He’s done the same for her over and over.

She loves him so much, but she has to do this and she needs him to understand.  

And, inevitably, he does.  Because it’s what he’s always done in her place.  

There is no choice to make when it comes to her and his family.   They will always fight for each other and their future together.
