I thought I would never make bloodymary fanart cause I'm an aroace Grace truther [nothing against the ship, love the fanart, it's just not in my headcanon] HOWEVER then I saw this and suddenly I wanted to make at least a bit of bloodymary fanart. Grace is still aroace but I think he starts questioning when around Simon. he's conflicted cause he can't tell what type of attraction he feels towards Simon or to what extent. I think he just likes Simon aesthetically. and he's fascinated by Simon. not to mention he's the only other human Grace meets and he's starved of human contact or connection. Grace is very hesitant about actually doing anything with Simon but they might end up in a qpr. I don't have as much on Simon's part cause I like phm and Grace more than Iron Lung but he's probably allo, maybe demiromantic. he's mostly just weirded out by Grace constantly intently staring at him but finds the positive attention nice.

last junicorn post! this was super fun and i'm glad it got me drawing regularly again :D (i would have liked for the sketches to have some colour but i've just moved and idk where my coloured pencils or markers or anything are)

something SO self indulgent solely for the fact that James Ortiz is eligible for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his performance in PHM. Practical effects in movies are so so important to me, and I was SHOCKED to find out Rocky was a puppet and not completely CGI. Idk it just makes me so excited and happy when movies utilize puppetry and prosthetics and real, intricate sets and wire work and take the time to let artists create things by hand because that heart really comes across in the film. I really hope he gets it because that would be absolutely insane.

This was more or less an experiment in different materials, and while the finished piece didn't end up how I envisioned it, I definitely learned a lot. Perhaps too much...
