The liberation forces have made significant advancements in the west of Gaurdis system and have secured ample space and time for the OLF to install a defensive station in the system.

The fight was hard, but the competency of the Liberation Front, and the help lent to them by the aliens not indifferent to our fight for democracy, had pulled them through the struggle. The push is currently moving to Oros and the broken ruins of the homeworld, but the resistance and the presence of the loyalists there is still significant. The potential capture of Orassia is anticipated to improve morale among the fighting forces, and the OLF needs what it can muster to bring an end to one of the only oppressive dictatorships in the Eastern Quadrant.

Among the greatest news today is the complete liberation of the H'Oumukh Region! In their strategic push, and with the aid of many volunteers from other interstellar states, the OLF managed to secure the region and clear it of all presence of loyalists. According to the words of the soldiers, it was "as if the whole comms network of the Matriarchy's forces in H'Oumukh started malfunctioning, which allowed for the offensive to be successful in the first place." It is unknown at the moment who was responsible, but, whoever it may have been, they have just helped to bring the tyranny of the Matriarchy one step closer to its end.

In other news, our news network, with the help of our allies, have reached out to Region of J'Horrim to spread the message of truth. When we heard that they still believe that no civil war is currently happening on their doorstep at all, we were shocked. The propaganda wall of the Matriarchy had certainly worked wonders for them at the time, but not at that moment.

At least some of the citizens in the region got to hear the realities of what was happening, and they would share them with the rest gradually. Our agency certainly received potential points of contact, which we will gladly share with our allies.

We have received word that the OLF is to hold memorials to the fallen soldiers in the capitol city of the region, Atasaŋ. The insurgents have suffered their share of losses they intend not to be forgotten by the fighters. A significant event for the entire nation happened several weeks ago when the partisans from the 'Orassian Liberation Front' and the 'Insurgent Priesthood Organisation' successfully stormed main military headquarters of Atasaŋ city. All military units of the enemy had been pacified, and the heavy artillery and infantry stored within was put to use by the insurgents.

During the next few weeks, the OLF and the IPO liberated the entire city and approx. 55% of the entire H'Oumukh Region of Prophet's Promise, which is quite unprecedented in the recent history. By all means, the entire nation had witnessed the start of a large-scale civil war.

The Matron Council and the Matriarch had declared a state of emergency and will be mobilizing all military assets to put and end to the fast-growing insurgency movement. But, the OLF/IPO remain optimistic, stating their experience in building robust defenses.

The fighting hadn't started just on the capitol world, however. Local insurgent cells on J'Kir's Jewel, the terraforming base of Prophet's Promise, rose up to the occasion and claimed two habitation domes in the eastern hemisphere of the moon. One of them is a civilian-class farming and hydroponics facility and the other is a fortress-class overwatch dome. The revolutionaries quoted the events in H'Oumukh Region as a direct inspiration for their actions.

It appears that a lot had been happening behind the scenes. The 'Orassian Liberation Front' had reportedly struck a deal with the disgruntled administration of the Resource Extraction Sector. The latter was being heavily taxed by the Matriarchy in attempt to hoard minerals and strategic resources for themselves, as they no doubt anticipated the rise of the insurgents.

The Central Habitat Complex of the sector's administration had been retrofitted to serve as the HQ for the Orassian Liberation Front, opening a new space frontier.

Currently, in context of recent events, our correspondents report heavy fighting happening in the northern system of the Orassian space. The insurgents are being hammered by the Matriarchy's assault fleet divisions. The former are resorting to hit-and-run tactics to exhaust the opponent, while slowly striking at the starbase with particle lances.

With the protests underway, it's no secret that cloning in the Orassian space is illegal and is a felony. Our agency's stance on such matters is clear: this practice should be fully legalised and all ethical concerns related to cloning properly addressed by competent experts.

The Matriarchy's record relating to it hasn't been totally clean, however. At first, as shocking as it sounds, the first generations of Orassian clones were forcefully corralled and subsequently murdered by the Matron Council under false pretenses that these Orassians were "less pure". They were still people, and another victims of the Matriarchy's authoritarian enforcement machine.

What is concerning however is that the protesters stressed their woes about the the fact that the current government used cloning in general, rather than the Matriarchy's breaches of sapient rights by suppressing free will of clones.

As a news organisation, we take a stance in support of rights of clones and against any notion that they do not deserve all freedoms and protections that they do. The fact that the current government does not recognise it is deplorable and warrants condemnation.

Good evening. Erhrdra D'Kara here, the High Executive Officer of an independent news organisation 'People's News Republic'. I was a previous hostess of the Orassian state news, before I found asylum in another interstellar state. The nature of it I cannot reveal for security reasons and for the safety of my employees.

Our mission is to bring you unbiased news and deep-dives into the authoritarianism propagated by the state media. There will be a lot to unpack in the incoming months.

Starting with the first bombshell: our sources on Prophet's Promise and its colonies confirm that the Matriarch has sent a special enforcer task group to disperse dissidents and silence vocal opponents. Those enforcers were reported to be the same person in appearance and behaviour clad in dark power-armor, suggesting the use of clones. Despite the common consensus on the capitol against cloning, the Matriarch seems to disregard such.

Our anonymous sources have confirmed to be in possession of an enforcer's body, after their brutal assault on their hiding place. Upon autopsy, it was revealed that the clones were heavily modified cybernetically, and their cranium was completely enveloped in circuits designed to suppress free will of the affected person. Such modifications were also used as a transmission relay for direct commands, but the source of those could not be determined.

The ethical implications of such discoveries are appalling. Not only the Matron Council is actively complicit in these highly deplorable methods, but the Matriarch does not seem to mind it either. But, of course, the Matriarchy would not comment on such if they were approached with this question.

Amidst widespread celebrations of our All-Saints Day, the Matron Council had organised a duelling competition on one of our coliseums honouring the patron saints of Kherhr and Darhrŋa, the twin-protectors. All were surprised to see the Matriarch herself attend the sports. During the event, Her Excellency addressed the people publicly, stating that additional funds shall be redirected to the Department of Defence and Homeland Security. This would include an internal R&D division who are responsible for improving defence capabilities of our deep space turrets.

Such news were accepted positively by an overwhelming margin among the populace, with a minor, but vocal group of critics expressing their disapproval for this decision. A Shift in Communications Frequency

Greetings, denizens of Peritainia,

Due to recent space weather disturbances, our primary communications array has been damaged in a sudden ionic storm. Repair crews are already on their way to address the situation and get the array in operating condition. In the meantime, we will be using this communication frequency on a backup platform for the time being.

Unfortunately, this region of space where the primary comms array was installed has been discovered to be unsafe in the recent astral meteorological report. All civilian transports and cargo have been rerouted. Therefore, using this backup array as a primary one still remains a possibility in the future.
