Silrani History and Society (Work in Progress)

Early History

The Silrani are a species of sapient arthropods who evolved to inhabit the many oases on their savanna home world they call Silran-Ka in one of their most common languages. In the early days of their sapience, oases inhabited by the Silrani became increasingly bustling and developed egalitarian hives living in harmony with the landscape around them as well as themselves. As time passed, cultures developed and populations grew. This caused the rise of power-hungry greedy leaders that warped hives into stratified societies while suppressing dissent and controlling the increasingly scarce resources often in favor of the ruling classes.

We know things have been quiet here in our corner of the Galaxy, friends - and we're sorry. However, we can promise that things are still going very well here for all of us in the Republic!

We've successfully built up Soil of Hope - the newest member world in our galactic family - and repaired more than 75% of the damage done in their nuclear conflict. Our scientists estimate that within the next solar year, their water supply will be fully replenished and their oceans will be able to support marine life once more.

Help has been critical from the Science and Construction Guilds of @guildsre who continue to be dear partners and friends for us in the galactic space. Guild scientists have been better able to help engineer atmospheric technologies that are very successful in pulling nuclear radiation out of the air.

The Republic's economy has been easily able to adapt to the support needed to help the Queptillium repair their home world, thanks in large part to our economic and resource generation being both strong and sustainable.

Chancellor Caloxi also wants to share that our latest election season will begin in six solar months, so another round of voting will be in store for all residents of the Republic. It's a lively holiday with festivals, speeches and of course, polite conversation between members of our Assembly.

I for one am looking forward to broadcasting the season when it begins!

Message from the 2nd Quadrant

Hello, Xenos of this galaxy of ours. We are the Federal Systems of Hamilonia, a republic that is requesting aid in securing property. While in transit from the Planet of Jo'jayan to the new Colony of A'Dadan, the cargo it was transporting overpowered the guards and took control of an FTL Capable Starship.

This is a massive security issue, for all those who are around, a ship with the cargo in control is no good. In fact, we know that all of our kin who were guarding or piloting the ship died. We saw it on our cameras.

So please, if you can, find and track our ship. We are offering a reward of 10 Million Federal Credits for tracking it down. 60 Million plus cargo if it is recovered.
