I slept next to my translation of Dante's Commedia. Even after I finished it, I went way too emotionally attached to it 🙄

I only began to learn French thanks to Philippe Jaroussky: he's French and I rlly needed to understand his interviews or even the music he sang. Pretty much the same with Italian but my IT is reduced to its use within the context of, yk, 18th century music or earlier music. Btw, today's his birthday. Happy birthday, Philippe 💖

This year I was going to study LLPSI (Ørberg), Athenaze, become an specialist in keyboard music before 1700 (and all the stuff it involves, and learning by heart Diruta, Thomas of Sancta Maria is just the start), finish and learn all my books, watch all the operas in my watchlist and learn its scores and librettos, learn music production, learn how to conduct, found an ensemble, memorize perfectly all my repertoire and at least know deeply bohem flute's one, know perfectly historical temperaments and its math (be fluent at least in 1st semester college math), sight-read like a pro, learn all the possible historical treatises, master improvisation and ornamentation of specific time periods and national styles and improvise as Diego fucking Ortiz; play the traverso as Quantz, analyze from a ricercada to a twelve-tone-technique piece as if it were an entertaining game; immerse in psychology, know all about the historical figures and time periods that are the object of my hyperfixation, learn to think intelligently, talk as an elevated poet in 7 languages, learn everything possible about art and philosophy(ies); know engineering stuff, write-mind blowing sci-fi; workout to look as a sistine chapel girl; do dzogchen and phowa and arrive to the perfection of shamata; train my cat and and calm my mind down a little, and be the best person I can be. WHAT HAPPENED?

lmao tbh the only shit I achieved was liberating some of my devices' storage, "sort" some pins, answer most of my messages, half-understand some paragraphs from the first few pages of some books that I never finisheddddd... and trying to put my life in order to achieve all this by making confusing and overwhelming plans that never came to life, ending being drawn by lifelong stupid compulsive habits. and procrastinate.

Sum of the year: overwhelming about all the things I've got to learn and do and learning/doing little (not recommended).

I end the year not knowing shit T_T

Wished that a new year implied a brain reboot.
