There is no way of accidentally doing a nazi salute twice in a row while the entire world is watching. This man needs to be killed
And I mean he does need to be killed. I remember a time when the obvious and most socially acceptable answer to what you would do if you could travel back in time was to kill Hitler before he rose to power. That is just what everyone said. Saying that nazis and fascism are bad was not seen as a controversial opinion it was simply a fact. This was not a long time ago and I am sure the vast majority of people reading this remember this as well. Elon Musk needs to be killed. Obviously.
Join me on my journey to finally unbalance my hormones, toxify my body, boost my inflammation, maximize my cortisol and absolutely destroy my gut health.
I just realized it's literally just the fucking humors again. We've arrived back at the starting line.
An ex-colleague of mine was complaining to me the other day about the ai problem in her students' papers, and I told her, "Just make your students hand-write them in class. Easy." She looked at me like I was insane and tried to explain how that would never work, but I just said,"That's how we did it for a thousand years. The invention of word processors doesn't erase all that."
To me it seems obvious. Readings are done out of class, handwritten essays are done within it. No more ai papers.
I give all my exams in blue books. A lot of my colleagues have started doing the same. The struggle to interpret student handwritting is worth avoiding the whole plagerism academic protocol nonsense.
Man of all the unexpected Secondary and Tertiary effects that AI Slop could have I think the best and funniest would be if it forced all schoolwork to return to being done in school and thus by necessity killed Homework.

The idea that racism will die out with the white baby boomers is a myth perpetuated by white millennials who do not want to take action and responsibility for calling out racism in their own generation. White millennials are not inherently less racist than white baby boomers and racism does not disappear with a generation. Racism is a construct that exists in all aspects of society, from politics to economics to social norms and activities. It can only be eradicated with constant and fervent dismantling of these powerful constructs in place and new generations must keep working at it. I’ve heard too many fellow white people say that when all these ‘racist old people’ die off then we’ll be fine but we all know that racism is not limited to old white people and that the alt-right is littered with white millennials. Check your friends and family on bigoted and racist remarks. Be a good ally. Sitting back for old people to die is not good allyship and you’ll soon see that they are not the only racists in power.
In short: Racism will not die on it’s own… we have to actively kill it.
Basically, white America for the most part operates under two principles.
One, I don’t want other people to think I’m a racist.
Two, I don’t want to have to do more work on this than necessary.
And it sort of works, for some definition of works. Thanks to tireless activism, those of us who want to actually end racism, and not just avoid being seen as a bad thing, keep moving the bar on what it means to be a racist. But we’re pushing up against a group that is not engaged.
And I get it. Grappling with internalized racism is not fun. And for most white people, especially those not in urban areas, it doesn’t actually affect them too much.
So for the last 50 years, the bar is mostly “If I’m less racist than my parents, I’m probably fine.” And we are! We really are. Young white people don’t have a problem with people of color in all kinds of jobs, even authority positions. We forget interracial marriage was even a controversy. We acknowledge that there’s advantages to being white, and think there shouldn’t be so many.
But we still demand that PoC perform whiteness. The guy in a suit who works at a bank? Cool. The guy in the hoodie listening to hip-hop a little too loud on his headphones? Probably a thug, the police should keep an eye on him. Being culturally black is probable cause still, a priori, for police violence, and white America is quick to introduce doubt as to the PoCs motives.
And we really don’t like it when someone speaks a language or dialect that is not standard White English. (British or Australian accents are fine. African American vernacular, not as much.)
If we continue to push like this, maybe the post-millennials will push past this. Maybe the generation after that will actually address the economic horror that was slavery and the repercussions through the century. Maybe in 200 years racism will actually be something only weird fringe hate groups practice, and then fizzle and die out.
I don’t know about you, but I’d rather not wait that long. Everyone alive today of any race deserves better.
Sophie Scholl’s last words:
“How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone willing to give himself up individually to a righteous cause? Such a fine sunny day, and I have to go, but what does my death matter, if through us thousands of people are awakened and stirred to action?”
Phroyd
Quote from Traudl Junge, Hitler’s private secretary from 1942-45:
Of course, the terrible things I heard from the Nuremberg Trials, about the six million Jews and the people from other races who were killed, were facts that shocked me deeply. But I wasn’t able to see the connection with my own past. I was satisfied that I wasn’t personally to blame and that I hadn’t known about those things. I wasn’t aware of the extent. But one day I went past the memorial plaque which had been put up for Sophie Scholl in Franz Josef Strasse, and I saw that she was born the same year as me, and she was executed the same year I started working for Hitler. And at that moment I actually sensed that it was no excuse to be young, and that it would have been possible to find things out.
Humans are a communal species that have banded together and cared for their sick, disabled, and elderly since before we were ever modern man. Resources were shared even as skills specialized.
Capitalism isn’t natural. A community should not have members dying of starvation or exposure while there is an abundance of resources. That isn’t how it works. That isn’t how it’s supposed to work.
ok so my roommates are anthropology students and their favorite example for debunking the ‘survival of the fittest’ bs is shanidar 1. (x, x, x)
shanidar 1 is a neanderthal who, at a pretty young age, was hit in the head hard enough to blind him. this also led to that side of his brain shutting down and withering his right arm, and possibly crippling his entire right side. not only that but his skeleton also shows that at some point, he broke a bone in his foot and, in addition to the other factors, resulted in a noticeable limp. there are some sources which say he likely had degenerative diseases. (arthritis was really common in neanderthals)
going off of widespread ideas of “”primitive”” (no longer the word used in anthropology/academia to describe early-modern humans) societies, shanidar probably died really young, deliberately abandoned or killed. i mean, he was severely crippled, blind, etc., he couldn’t contribute anything, he would have been a “”burden to society””, right?
except he lived to be between 40 and 50 years old. (about ~80 in human years)
this means that his social group had to have taken care of him for a minimum of two or three decades without his ‘contributing’ anything significant to the group. this discovery (and Shanidar III’s) was huge because it basically proves that early humans had a concept of hospice. early modern humans cared for the sick and the elderly, greatly extending their lifespan, simply because they cared.
tl;dr: the concept of someone needing to be ‘’useful’’ or ‘’’productive’’’ in society in order to be valued and cared for is a very modern concept and our quasi-predecessors would be ashamed
Also, Shanidar I was buried with flowers. They cared about him after he was dead, too.
I suggest you to listen this while reading

The Whispering Door’, Clonmacnoise, Co Offaly, Ireland. It dates from the 15th century. According to tradition if two people stand at each side of the door and whisper to the stone, their voices will carry to each other around the curve of the door, remaining unheard by anyone else.
