I rly think more ppl should believe that they can literally learn anything. Like you can learn a new skill or learn about a topic and be knowledgeable. You could go back to school right now and learn to be a lawyer or doctor. You could learn how to draw or how to do fiber arts or pottery. The difference is that you might not be *good* at it and you might not want to continue it, but you can literally learn anything.

This year an 80 year old student graduated at my school and she stopped a group of my friends to tell us:

You can teach an old dog new tricks except you need to be patient.

She spent her entire life dedicated to her husband and after he passed she finally was able to go back to school & get her bachelor's. She is probably my favorite person I met from school, having purple hair and immediately accepting me for who I am genderwise!

So yes, don't let anyone ever tell you, you can't learn something. What makes the difference is not how quick you pick something up, but rather how long you keep trying.
