She almost commented that Ayla had basically said the same thing she did, jsut with a more positive spin. But the woman was damn charismatic and hearing her speak so passionately brought Kid's mood up as well.

She clapped for the woman, trying to ignore the looming sense of 'didn't I say something like that a while back... about Radical Dreamers?'. She didn't like to think about those memories too much, it only gave her headaches.

"Alright y' got me on board. If we're tied to the life of the planet like that then ya better believe I'm gonna fight for it too."

“Eh...?” What a weirdo. She shakes her head, only to have her attention grabbed by the glint of an item hanging off the man’s belt. Didn’t look valuable enough to steal per se, but it was oddly familiar. Instinct called the girl to reach down to her own pouch, to ensure she still had it on her person.

“Oi wait a sec!” The girl called out after a moment. “Think I mighta heard of you after all.” Too bad she didn’t have that letter Lucia had on her.

"Ah, Kid! 'Tis a touch late, but-" Glenn proffers a gold-wrapped gift box he'd been hiding behind his back. Inside is a shiny compass that Glenn himself somewhat sloppily engraved a "K" into on the back. "Merry Christmas! I hope this will suffice!" (heroesmustwintheday) ((merry christmas!!))

“Aw man, an I didn even get you a thing.” She turns the compass over in her hand, running a thumb along the engraving and the smooth metal between.  “I’m gonna owe you fer this one mate.”

Despite her guilt at not realizing it was the holidays already, Kid offers him a grin and a nod a thanks, pocketing the item for easy access and already trying to think of a way to repay Glenn for the gesture.
