The King of Comedy.
so when Octavian starts acting like a king the senate love him, but when I, Gaius Julius Caesar...
I like men

Consider checking out my artfight!
Joining this year with my roster of dungeons and dragons characters! This is my third year on artfight and first ever tumblr post (shaking with fear) (And if you want to attack doomed yaoi... Casimir is one half of a pair) (the other half by a friend of mine) https://artfight.net/~Miotren
Heyaaa! Joining artfight this year for my second time and I saw other Mystery team members doing this so I hopped on the trend! Feel free to attack or follow if you like my character designs! <3 And even if you don't, you're all appreciated!
I say shit like "If my memory serves me" knowing damn well it serves the dark lord
Dico "Si memoria me adiuvet" cum dominum obscurum praeclare eam sciam adiuvare
One thing that always haunts me is how we actually don't know anything about Octavian.
Sure, we think we know a lot because there are so many historians (both ancient and modern) who wrote about his life, but if Suetonius is to be believed, Octavian viewed his life like a play, and he was merely an actor in the "comedy of life". Also, he could easily have wiped away from the contemporary literature what didn't fit his public image.
So all we know is what he wanted us to know, but there's no guarantee it corresponds to his true character. What if it was all just an act he was forced to uphold until the end of his life, and just then he could finally acknowledge that that's all that it was, a perfectly constructed lie?
I'm joining art fight for the first time this year! I'm honestly a little terrified but oh well

Well I called upon the Muses before a recitation of an ancient tale so they could imbue me with poetic inspiration and knowledge of history, and they said you're wrong
I called Pan bihorned and now I'm pacing around while the spirit of wine and madness has overtaken me in a ritualistic frenzy and the group has dictated: death by limb tornement
