The way dragon age treats the dwarves and qunari in terms of developing the cultures is depressing af. One they have these monolith cultures of you're either this kind of one or not and then the they don't even spend any time with them. Maybe its because i'm irish but i'm like where are the diaspora cultures. Where's the mining town suface dwarf settlements or vashoth communities in rivain.

Even the elves kinda suffer this cause if you dont wanna be dalish you can go fuck yourself. Oh you found the unique culture of the alienage elves in origins interesting too bad.

I actually love the idea of surface dwarve mining settlements in the anders. Ik there is some diaspora areas in kirkwall and starkhaven for the dwarves but they are really more focused on merchants and still quite obbsessed with orzammar.
