What does Orphnirel think about the time loops? Does he do them because they're fun or because they're the only way forward? What does he wish he could change?

At first, Orphnirel treated time loops as "an opportunity to know the details about the things that happened" and "his second chance to set things right."

But after several loops later, he realized his choices don't matter since the chain of events is "scripted." If something bad is meant to happen, it will happen that way no matter how hard he tries to change it. (That means if someone is destined to die, they will die anyway... He tried to save a few companions from their demise, but he failed, as if the world itself didn't want him to succeed.)

So, his focus shifted from "trying to make changes for the better" to "observing the changes happened around him" instead.

Maybe in one of the future loops, Orphnirel can reach somewhere further, somewhere he has never seen or been to in the past loops. Continue looping is the only way for him to move forward... So he won't be stuck in the past, where things are much simpler but lack of anything new.
