Very excited to see this one come out of the kiln!
Tumblr doesn't like me adding the video of the completed piece to this so here are some stills
Also bonus: dance party mug
I learned a lot on this mug, so there's definitely things I'd do differently, but overall I love these little guys having a great time

I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Here he is, the Aldi Cowboy
Remember when Little Talks was on the radio all the time? Things were better then. Have we tried putting Little Talks back on the radio 18 times a day to see if that fixes things
giggled at something and my coworker comes out of the break room and goes "I just heard like, a haunted child laugh... so weird." and I'm like okay so it was a normal regular alive adult laugh actually
My son gave me a card that said, "You are the best mom ever" so I asked him if he collected empirical evidence to back up that claim. He admitted to doing no research at all; therefore it's purely anecdotal and cannot be trusted. I have hung this sentimental atrocity on my office wall.
Went to the Palais Galliera Fashion in the 18th Century: a Fantasized Legacy (2026) exhibition and became unexpectedly obsessed with this Karl Lagerfeld gown from 2005, for Chanel.
The tabard-like overdress! The fit through the hips under it! That specific blue over that specific ivory! Princess Leia your robe de soir is ready!
