24 hour warning!

There is only about 24 hours left to submit your piece for volume 2 of Beauty Karamatsu!

If you are working on but have not finished with your piece by that time:

Submit your WIP, and comment in the notes I should know at the end of the submission form when you think your piece will be done. I will still consider your entry. 

If you have not started your piece by that time:

You are outta luck! I will not accept submissions past that deadline.

Volume 2, Beauty Karamatsu: The Road to Beauty, still accepting submissions!

Volume 1 has been finished for a while now! We included over 100 different artists, who all created beautiful pieces centered around Karamatsu. 

Next is Volume 2, “Road to Beauty”, and we’d love to have you join!

The first post about volume 2 got a little long, so here’s the rundown:

Up to 100 different artists will be included.

Traditional art, digital art, craft photos, and cosplay photos are all acceptable! This does include comics. Cosplay photos require proper credit to models / photographers. 

The main themes are “KARAMATSU” and “BEAUTY” (however you choose to interpret that!). Karamatsu and/or Karako do not have to be present in the image, but the theme should be obvious in your work. 

Entries that do not follow submission guidelines cannot be accepted into the zine. Please read the directions carefully!

The FINAL DEADLINE is FRIDAY, AUGUST 25, 2017 at 11:59 pm EST.

Calling all gamers!

Yeah, ok, that was pretty cheesy. It’s Mod Kara again, with more info!

If you participated (or followed along with) the Matsu Games ( @matsugames) you may know me as Vice Lead Beauty Karamatsu OR Vice Lead Tinker Ichi, we’re the same people haha! 

You might also know that Team Jyushimatsu pulled a complete 180 in the games and produced a cool simulator game that won challenge 7 of the games!

Well, a lot of the members who worked on it had ideas that we didn’t have time to include or finish, so we decided to create a version 2 of the game. So we’re going to create a Version 2, and we’re opening up project work to the public! While we have written all the new routes that I’ll be able to code for it, we do have room for art from anyone who’d like to contribute! 

There were a couple other teams that made really cool games, and I thought it would be fun to make a Discord server so that we could all work on games together - whether it be just a little or a lot!

We’ve rebranded!

Hey everybody! Mod Karamatsu here! 

After recent experience with the GIGANTIC project that was the Matsu Games ( @matsugames if you want to read more!), I’ve decided to expand the coverage of this blog.

We will now post about Osomatsu-san zines, games, events, contents, and any other kind of fan project we come across! 

As always, you can come to us and ask us to reblog info or share links for those who may be interested in joining your project.

The wait is finally over!!

We are very proud to present Once Upon A Pine, an Osomatsu-san fanzine inspired by various fairytales and folktales from all over the world! Have you always wanted to see or read a Matsu AU of your favorite fairytale? You just might find it here!

This zine features 48 artists and 4 fic writers putting their own Matsu-style spin on a story assigned to them. Everyone’s worked very hard on their entries, and we hope that you enjoy every page of this storybook-inspired zine!

Do you know anything about the Me and Cats Zine for Ichimatsu? It's been months since the deadline for submissions passed, And there hasn't been a single word from the hosts of the zine. Was the zine abandoned?

I’ve got more info on the about on @beauty-karamatsu but basically that person dropped off the face of the earth (personal account included). I wouldn’t count on that zine ever happening (which is too bad… it was a good idea…)

Church of the Damned is an Osomatsu-san Religion AU fanzine, which was made possible by the efforts and contributions of 50 fan artists. 

It contains:

- 80 pages

- Full colour

- is 21 x 26 cm in size

- No BLMatsu

- No gore and NSFW but partial nudity

☆ It’s time for the Matsu Games Sign-ups!

After a day of campaigning, it is time to start picking which team it is you would like to be on. If you did not get to see what the games are about, check out this post here.

If you haven’t picked a team, you still have 24 hours to check out their servers.

Sign-ups will be open for 48 hours. As follows, they will close midnight EST on the 8/9th.

Teams will have an even number of members. To eliminate bias between favourite characters, we ask you to pick your top 3 preferences!

If you miss the sign-ups, do not fret! There will be smaller sign-ups at the end of each week.

When teams are selected, people will be contacted with the team they are in as well as a list of other members chosen. You will be given a chance to request a change but you must have a reason.

Last call for corrections!

We’re about to upload and distribute the zine very soon!! But first, we want to make absolutely sure we have everyone’s info in the Contributors’ Pages correct before we pay to get the PDF. If we mistakes in the PDF, we’d have to pay again for the corrected version, and Mod Jyushi doesn’t have that much money orz

Once again, here is the Google Doc containing everyone’s names, sites, blurbs, etc. Participants, please look through the Doc. If there are any corrections or changes to be made to your info, tell Mod Jyushi immediately through the ask box or through IM (@jyushimatsu-falls-in-love). 

We’ll allow two-three days for corrections; after that, we’ll pay for the PDF and you won’t be able to have your info corrected by then. So please please please tell us of any corrections/changes right away!!
