is offered as they step out the door, listening as Meteora explains. Every one of them has been involved in Elimination Chamber for months now, Creators and Created alike, but certainly out of all the Creations opposing Altair, Meteora has been the one to help the most in orchestrating the event. Truly, without her to devise strategy with Kikuchihara and the Creators, Rui wonders where the project would be.
❝ For sure, ❞ he muses, demeanor turning from chipper to something more attentive. ❝ It really feels like the story’s coming together. I can practically feel everyone getting all powered up! ❞
A fist clenches at the notion, his whole being buzzing with the knowledge of what’s to come. Then a thought bubbles to the surface; something about the Elimination Chamber that’s been sitting in the back of his mind for a while. ❝ Oh, speaking of which — didn’t Sota-kun say he was getting involved? ❞
Rui radiates excitement; in these closing moments, their efforts are being realised, their achievements are showing their worth, and all the labour put into constructing the stage is showing – be it in the faces around them, or the atmosphere that engulfs them in this time of importance; they all wish to see the end of this. Meteora feels the swell of excitement, their communal feeling of happiness at this stage was palpable; though she does not reflect the feeling, it surfaces as a subdued expression that rests on her face. A small smile appears on her face as they pass the offices filled with the Creators working themselves; the collective effort was truly a feat that showed the determination of their will to save their worlds.
In a moment, Meteora looks towards Rui in light of his question, offering a slight nod.
‘Sota-dono will be lending a hand in these final moments leading to the Elimination Chamber Festival; though it had taken some time for everyone to agree, he has been allowed to make his own contribution, with Kikuchihara-dono’s permission.’ She speaks softly as they leave the building, head straight looking unto the many faces that filled the streets of Tokyo. With each passing day these streets became more familiar, and so did the route to YcDonalds.
