Hey lovely healthcare peeps, I made this little chart of some upper extremity muscles so I could remember how they’re innervated and which level their nerves are at, and I just thought I’d post it here in case it’s useful to anyone
EDIT: What up fam it’s your girl back again with an updated chart that should have 1. less spelling errors and 2. less anatomical errors
Awesome chart that shows the different muscles and the nerves that innervate them!
When I was in grad school, we totally joked about getting an OT on the Ellen show…  It’s not one of my classmates..but it FEELS LIKE ONE OF US !!!!!!!!
Love this!!!
This may be a niche meme, but teaching people to wipe their butts just so happens to be one of my niche skills

What is occupational therapy?Â
OT is a healthcare profession that helps people return to what’s most meaningful to them.Â
Pretty vague right...?Â
The beauty of this profession is how it allows us to help anyone regardless of age, background, or diagnosis in very creative and holistic ways. Our education and training helps us understand the many components that make up a person (such as their mental health, physical abilities, emotional well being, social supports, etc.) and how these factors can help or hinder a person’s ability to engage in everyday activities.Â
Here are just a few examples of what OT’s can do:Â
-Improving a child’s performance in school by addressing sensory needs -Helping an adult regain independence in bathing and dressing after experiencing a stroke -Providing resources/skills to a teenager with Autism as he transitions into adulthood
Welcome to my page!
Hey everyone, thanks for finding me on Tumblr! I’m Jess and I’m currently an occupational therapy student who is about to start my fieldwork level II rotations.Â
Just a little about myself...Â
I grew up overseas but was raised most of my life in the United States! I love art, anime, games, and (of course) occupational therapy. I have a 14 year old Borgle (beagle and border collie mix) who likes to nap just as much as I do. I’m an introverted extrovert and a karaoke fiend.
I created this page to share my personal and professional growth as a therapist. I also hope to use this platform to share more about occupational therapy, provide tips/tricks I learn along the way, and learn from others! :)Â
So let’s get started~
