My cg helps pick up the broken pieces that my biological father leaves. Growing up I never heard the words “Im proud of you, I love you, or you’re perfect how you are” from my father and it leaves deep scars within me. I need and value my cg because he takes the time to show me what it’s like to be cared for and loved and teaches me how to love myself too.

Sorry for the serious post but I feel like this is something that needs to be said and I feel strongly about it. Our cgs dont just take care of us physically but they care for us mentally in ways that many of our biological parents didn’t.
