My booth from Akron Pride this past weekend (Aug. 28th, 2021). I had a great time and tons of creatures got adopted! Can’t wait to vend there again next year.

Come visit The OtherWorld Menagerie this weekend at Akron Pride! 

We will be in one of the vendor sections listed on the map. (If I remember once we find out where our spot is we will update this post!) Akron Pride is at Lock 3 Park, which is in downtown Akron, OH.  The festival is from 11am to 10pm. And parking is free in all the garages for the event! We will have tons of Face Masks, Pride Owls, Pride Worms, Pride Bats, Mandrakes, Cockatrice Chicks, Potion Sprites, and more at the Menagerie booth!

We will likely be the only one or one of the very few purple canopies at the event. We will be sharing our booth with Petrachor Plush and they have a ton of awesome handmade queer merch as well!

The self proclaimed king himself, Reginald Von Helmwald!

Reginald is quite the regal 'shroom, he is no royal but he is a king oyster trumpet so that is close enough! With Portobellos as his righthand fungus he has eliminated taxes for all mushkind (there were never any) and Mondays are now Mossdays. Grand improvements all around! Reginald has taken to ruling my desk shelf, and well it's still a mess, but we will see what he plans to do with it in the future.

Meet Portobellos!

Portobellos is a Mushin, a bipedal mushroom creature. They dwell in forests, prairies, basements, and even under your sink! They speak the earthen tongue which all plants and fungi share, but to us humans it sounds like garbled murmurs. These folks are carefree spending their days frolicking, playing, and singing together, what a life!

As head curator of Mysillyum, it is my task to locate and study these curious creatures! Portobellos is just one of many just waiting to be found!

These are PRE-ORDERS! They will ship out in 4 to 8 weeks depending on my queue. Each Pride Cockatrice chick was bred from our Rainbow Cockatrice Hen. You can choose from the following options: • Younger chick, which will come with an egg. • Older chick, it's a larger size and will not come with an egg. The larger chicks also have larger horns. ------ Chick size comparison in the last photo.  Each chick is unique and one of a kind. They are weighted and handmade with the softest of fabrics.
