He is supposed to be handsome, I swear, but I can never capture it, hehe. He's normally controlled and very well put together, and has a high alcohol tolerance but when he does get drunk he gets sloppy and emotional, leading to tearful outbursts and mindless violence, worse than his usual measured sadism.

(I would love to write him like that some day, although if he got that way around Yashiki it wouldn't end well for him... for Yashiki, I mean. >:3)

His favourite drink is Black Label whisky on the rocks, but is also fine with a pint of beer or red wine. But he detests the cheap stuff! x3

Some more news from recently:

Volume 2 of the DM2 manga released (please refer to my past posts in the #👻 OOParts Updates tag for links to purchase) so Ena has been sharing posts from bookstores across Japan with their DM displays, very nice 🥹

We'll probably be getting another livestream next month (fingers crossed) and it seems one of the topics for it will be about Spirit Hunter NG this time! Can't wait to see what that'll be about!

Also some tweets about the reboot- they're currently exploring the idea about making "Death Mark Zero" DLC which is speculated to be a prequel DLC about Saya, which is interesting to think about.

And also potential plans for Chapter 6: Red Riding Hood in the Rain to also get the reboot treatment, I wonder what would change.....

I love love love learning about ghosts, folklore and urban legends from other parts of the world.

Like, Japan, Mexico, and South East Asia (Malaysia, The Philippines, Vietnam etc.) have such amazing and interesting spirits. I'm hoping to learn about more ghosts/urban legends from other places such as Africa, Russia and so on.

But every time I learn about ancient deities and spirits I can't help but laugh at ma ain. Don't get me wrong, I'll be a proud Scot 'til ah die and will always hype up my homeland to say it's the best, but ah dae laugh thinking that we gotta deal with the fucking fae more times than most.

We git the horse that'll come oot the sea and drag ya back in tae eat if ye touch it. We git wee guys who'll help mind yer home if ye leave out treats, no tae mention a lass who'll help hardworking women with housework.

Here’s the thing I feel like a lot of folks don’t get: I’m not trying to forget what you said. Honestly, I really tried not to. I can’t control what I do and don’t remember—forgetting things just happens. It’s annoying for you, I know, but for me it’s distressing as hell and when you make a big deal out of it rather than just reminding me you make me feel ashamed. I’ll remember that, at least.

It costs you nothing to be kind to people with memory problems. Please. It’s scary enough without people treating memory lapses as a personal failing.

For those who have missed it, a tourist in Hawaii decided it would be fun to chuck a rock (a BIG rock) at a monk seal. He missed, but he was captured on video, and when told it was illegal to interfere with them, said "I'm rich, I can pay the fine."

Is the best part that he got doxxed? No.

Is the best part that he got tracked down by a local and beaten? No.

Arrested on state at federal charges, looking at up to 5 years and 50K? Nope.

The best part is the local city council's reaction.

And the best part of that is the look on the attorney's face.

After the incident, another video went viral showing what appeared to be that man getting a beating. The Maui Police Department said they had no record of any reports of disorderly conduct or assault related to the monk seal incident.

Even the local police are being cool about this.

I had some errands to run on my rare day off so I went and had some lunch by myself today!

My lunch was at this Japanese-Korean infusion bakery & cafe that I really like- it has a beautiful view of a grassy hill with a forest below and they play Laufey and lo-fi covers over the speakers so it's very chill.

Anyway for my lunch I had katsu curry and an iced london fog and took some pics with my keychain from @chipchopclipclop (a true oshi "katsu" if I do say so myself *slaps knee*)

And then when I got home I opened some packages that arrived!

First off: my complete set of Blue Demise arrived! Unfortunately it isn't the special edition that comes with that beautiful cover sleeve of Yashiki and Mary, but maybe if they re-release it or someone sells just the sleeve for NOT $300 then I'll grab it. One day.
