@oumsass
I get road rage walking behind people.
sometimes i wish i was a masc boy so i wouldn’t have to develop a personality, and instead only put in the minimum amount of effort into my appearance and people would like me the same amount if not more

What free speech absolutists have failed to acknowledge is that because one has the right to offend a group does not mean that one must. Or that that group gives up the right to be outraged. They’re allowed to feel pain. Freedom should always be discussed within the context of responsibility. At some point free expression absolutism becomes childish and unserious. It becomes its own kind of fanaticism.

Naomi Campbell at Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 1995 x Fran Drescher in “The Nanny”
Yo Fran man ..
When people compare the greatness that is The Simpsons to other animated shows like Family Guy it makes me want to set myself on fire
I went on a date last year and jokingly said “Don’t ask me I’m just a girl” and giggled at a 35 year old man thinking he’d get the reference and instead he said “that’s what I like to hear.”

Human: “HAHAHA Animals are so dumb!”
*goes to war with its own species, uses up all of its resources, destroys its own environment, pollutes its own air and water*
Animal: *licks its own asshole*
human: *licks someone else’s asshole and calls it sex*
When someone says “this social phenomenon is not always empowering and in fact is coerced” they are not robbing you of agency or victimizing you. Radical analysis of the functions of power is just analysis. The analyst or theorist does not harm you, power does.
The liberal feminist response to critical and radical inquiry into the disciplinary aspect of gender norms is always “but I find this norm empowering, how dare you take that from me.” This not only misses the point, but assumes that an individualistic approach to a norm ought the trump the collective and social harm it creates.
Wreath of oak leaves and acorns
4th Century
The two tubular “branches” (in semi-circular sections) are fastened at the front by a wire connecting the two looped ends. The oak leaves and acorns, veiled with gold leaf, are connected to the “branches” by gold wire stems.
What culture / where did this come from? It’s very pretty.
Kitty: *does an incredibly mundane thing, like roll over in their sleep*
Me: omg look at that kitty they’re the cutest ever they just ROLLED OVER OMG
I love being alone no one deserves me
