Aokuronon, back again. We all know that aokuro share basketball as a hobby, but do you think they might share other hobbies? I personally like to headcanon Ahomine getting obsessed with the HP series because Kuroko introduced him to it (to help him study English or sonething).

Kagami went to the register to order more food. Kuroko was used to the amount of hamburgers Kagami could swallow in one go, while Aomine was still bewildered. So, he indulged at staring at his him, queueing for an addition to his lunch. The cute girl at the register seemed to recognize him, as she waved her hand at him.

“Ah, Tetsu.” Aomine rustled in his school bag. “Here.” He put on the table a book. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Kuroko stopped sucking his milkshake from the straw. His lips opened with a small pop.

“Have you finished it?”

“Yes! What’s that surprised voice, huh?” Aomine glared at him. “I liked it. I thought it was just a book for kids.”

“Did you manage to read it all without reading the Japanese version?”

“I read it all in English! Why don’t you believe me, Tetsu?!”

Aomine pouted. He turned his head and looked outside the window. He heard again the sound of the milkshake running through the straw to reach Kuroko’s mouth.

“…do you have the second one?”

“I have it.” Kuroko admitted.” But you can easily find it in a library as well.”

“I don’t like deadlines. They put me in a hurry.”

“I don’t have it with me.”

“Well…” Aomine massaged the back of his head. “…maybe I could come to your place and take it. We could also talk a bit about it.”

Kuroko took his time to look genuinely surprised and enjoy the sensation of Aomine creating a light puzzlement in him. But he went back to his poker face. “You must read them all before we can have a proper conversation about Harry Potter, Aomine-kun.”

“What?! But Tetsu!”

Lol! Speaking of jealousy, what are your headcanons for that? Any favorite jealousy tropes or hyjinx scenarios you like to imagine happened to them?

- Kuroko is jealous of whoever can stand Aomine’s same ground on a one on one (ex. Kise and Kagami).

- Aomine is jealous of Kagami for his relationship with Kuroko and of Kise because he’s always all touchy with Kuroko.

- I think Kuroko may be jealous of Sakurai as well. Aomine has a little deeper relationship with him than with the other teammates.

Of course, the main reason which could lead to jealousy is that they lead two different lives, as they are in different schools. They have different acquaintances, different routine, they live in different environments. I consider this the first difficulty they must overcome to become a couple. Okay, I’m talking as if it is a videogame, but what I mean is that they’re young and probably staying away for so long and not having the chance of meeting every day may be draining (they’re teenagers after all). This is their main first challenge as a couple.

To fully understand why I keep melting when I read and watch this part, we must take into consideration some stuff.

- Aomine didn’t play, so there was no need for him to carry around some energy drink.

- In Japan, if you buy Pocari from vending machines, it is in plastic bottles. Aomine is carrying a refill bottle he probably took from the team supplies.

- At the end of every match or training session, the bottles are emptied. This means Aomine filled it himself. He could have just kept one from the match, but they didn’t know yet Seirin was there (and, as I said before, there was no need for him to use it, as he didn’t play).

- The energy drinks for clubs are made mixing water with the energy drink powder, meaning Aomine prepared it himself.

- He probably did all this because he noticed the Pocari were sold out in the vending machine. As Touou was told Seirin was there as well, Aomine thought Kuroko surely would have suffered from the high temperature in the onsen (hot springs) and collapsed. His favourite drink is Pocari and there wasn’t any in the ryokan (Japanese hostel); Aomine was sure Kuroko would have demanded for it.

- Aomine cannot predict the future, he just knows Kuroko so damn well that he was prepared to what could have happened. And, in fact, it did.

Aomine being a caring and attentive boyfriend confirmed.

If it's not too much trouble, can I ask you about your aokuro headcanons? Like, do you think they are the type of couple to be super obvious about dating even before they realize they're dating or the type that "yeah we're getting married what do you mean all of a sudden we've been dating for five years now."

I’ve always thought of them like that couple who’s dating even before they’re dating. They act like boyfriends but don’t consider themselves boyfriend until one of them has the sudden revelation. Then they tell the others they’re dating, but everyone is like “You’ve been dating for years. What’s the news? I thought you were announcing the marriage now.”

First who realise they’re basically dating are Kagami, Murasakibara, Himuro and Kiyoshi.

The one who confess his love his Aomine, because he has strange thoughts about Kuroko. Plus, he’s jealous of his chemistry with Kagami and when Kise tries to cling on Kuroko.

Kuroko is quite oblivious though. He doesn’t even believe Aomine at first; he thinks he is making some silly joke at first.

Kagami is done, because the tension between them is obvious, but everyone is like “They’re friends, old scars” and he is like “Uh no, I think they’re in love” but nobody ever listens to Kagami (poor Kagami, give him more credits!)

Nigou as well knows.

“Fuck off, Tetsu!” was the resonating yell that carried through the house. Unfortunately, the cry for help fell only on the ears of Tetsu himself, who had no intention to, in fact, fuck off.

Aomine had fallen victim to the horrid tickling from Kuroko, who knew each and every weak point that had Aomine’s fight response kicking in and insisting that he attempt to murder his boyfriend, whom he loved and cared for deeply.

At a brief pause where Kuroko allotted time for him to wheeze in breaths, Aomine growled, “What the hell are you getting from this? How is this funny to you? I’ve had to actively try not to kill you like six times now.”

“Aomine-kun is fun to tickle,” Kuroko replied, his eyes twinkling mischievously. “I like seeing you laugh so hard. It’s worth the attempted murder.” He did not smile, but his eyes twinkled brighter. “Besides, you’re not eighteen yet, so even if you do kill me you probably will not be put to the death penalty.”

Aomine blinked and would have asked plenty of questions if Kuroko had not gone back to tickling him with those nimble, soft touches of his, and it took a lot of desperate wiggling and screeching before Aomine rolled them over and began to tickle back.

“Your laugh is adorable,” he insisted, teasing.

Kuroko kicked at Aomine’s thighs, covering his face. “No, go to hell. I’m not cute.”

Aomine grinned, jabbing at Kuroko’s sides and armpits and wherever he didn’t manage to cover - he didn’t really fight much, he just became a writhing and giggling disaster. “You’re fucking adorable, Tetsu, look at you!”

He gasped desperately for breath, wiggling to try to escape and begging Aomine to stop until, finally, all was still.

“You don’t really think I’m adorable, do you?”

“You’re the fuckin’ cutest. But you’re also hot as hell. Dunno how you do it.”

Kuroko punched Aomine in the shoulder and hid his face.

For Kuroko’s birthday, I’ll start posting once every week/10 days “Seven days of summer” remastered (lol). I’ll also work on an old idea I wanted to write (and I have the first two chapters ready). Plus, I want to post the doujinshi I have.

If there’s anyone there who still loves AoKuro, I think I’m back :)
